Haggling for the best Phone upgrade

I'm still stuck with the old iphone 3gs , what can I say it has been a fantastic phone , and housed in it's otterbox defender case , it has been bumped , dropped ( not too often ) occasionally I have worked on building sites etc . it's a cracker , imo a more sturdy case than the newer iphones not sure I really want to upgrade when the time comes , although I do fancy the galaxy note phones

We had one of them till mrs traded it in on her s3, got 99 quid for it, after having it for at least 2.5 years

I was just reading yesterday of rumours of an S4 and Note 3 being released later this year. there is also another rumour that they may have a flexible screen so they don't break easily. To late for me though I have just signed up to get a Note 2.

Great with the S-Pen!

I don't use the pen for much else though.

I was going to get an S3 but opted for the note 2 in the end, I am a bit concerned about the size as is looks massive. I have kept an IPhone 4 as a reserve so if it is to big I will switch back to the iPhone and retire the note 2 to a draw.

After using the Note2 I think you'll struggle to go back to the tiny iPhone.
The Note isn't actually that bad as long as you don't wear skinny jeans, I don't have a problem with any of my pockets with it and for photos/ movies the Note is outstanding!

My boss has a note 2 for his personal phone as well and an iphone 4s company phone and the iphone looks like a toy.

Also the Note 2 is receiving the Jelly Bean 4.2 update very soon (Voda and 3 have it I think) the rest are waiting for carrier release.
I'm sure it'll be getting Lime Key Pie as well later this year.... eventually, knowing Samsung and the networks.

every one who has more than one month to go are actually lucky coz the mobile world congress would be 20th of Feb and brand new ones (A possible S4 also) coming.

Even if these phones would not be available immediately the price of the ones in the market would def come down

Looking forward to seeing what the S4 is like, it's rumoured to have the new 8 core chip and a 1080 screen.
It will be the new top end phone, whatever is in it.
The Note 3 will be interesting as well.
