I use my e-go all day and come night time I put on charge. It charges in about 20 minutes. This seems really short. I assume when the green light comes on that means its charged. Sorry if I am being a numpty

USB charger? Yes 20 mins does seem fast. Are you twisting it in far enough? (not too far or you push in the centre pin!) I've often found with the ego batts when you are twisting the battery into the USB charger the light can flash and go green then as you put it down because of tension on the cable it un-threads itself slightly and loses contact making the light go green and looking like it's charged. This generally gets worse over time with screwing on clearos and cartos as it pushes the centre pin in a little further each time making the problem worse.
You might have to tweak up the centre pin on the battery slightly so it makes better contact. If you are using something metal to move the pin don't press the fire button! lol

I am using mains to charge it Will try the USB It should'nt be any different provided the USB socket can provide enough current, the electronics in the charger lead limits how much current can get through to charge the battery, even if you have a 1000mA (1A) supply the charger will generally limit the current to the battery to 400 - 500mA.
