the photo explains....

I would just like to explain the problems I am having.
Firstly the tank atty has 2 small holes for airflow and when screwed down tightly to the tornado battery, vapes perfectly.
When used on a 510 battery it takes too much air and gets very hot.
Secondly, it does the same thing on the box mod, which has a 510 battery fitting that stands proud, so that the atty is flush with the box.

In conclusion if the tank atty is not used with the tornado battery, it doesn't work as well, and makes a whistling sound when you vape it. It gets very hot because you are over working it.
Please believe me, I am not being critical, I am just pointing out that the tornado tank atomiser is a very difficult species to fit on a mod. The answer may be something as simple as a metal washer, that the atty could sit on.
I really love my tank, and would ideally like to perch it on top of one of Seans RED mods, but I think it needs to fit flush.

Thank you Ian for your advice, and whereas you have knowledge of vaping on at least 20 different kind of PVs , I am a dedicated tank user. I don't have time to drip a cart, when I am riding a horse. (yes I know you shouldn't smoke whilst riding, and lost many lighters that way, but I WAS a heavy smoker!) Hay, straw, dust etc, can get everywhere, so it was a nightmare when I started vaping, but the tank saved me for outdoor muck and time saving reasons.

Hoping Sean will come up with the answer after his charity bike ride!

That's weird Kat as I've a tank box mod and haven't experienced any of the things you are . . . I did find that one cart tip whistled on a Tornado battery, but it's the only one of the 3 I've got that does do that.

I wonder if the Ego-T's will be any different for you?

lol Kat.Drip a cart thats a swear word to me,i fill my map tanks with 5ml of juice to last me the day.You wouldnt catch me dripping an atty or cart,them days are history I have a Tornado tank on the 109 as i have said, and it vapes very well.I have always found the Tornado tanks to be poor whether they fit flush to a mod or not.After five or six hits the atty gets hot and the draw is not good either.Im gonna try the Ego T attys to see if they are better.I think Perpy said she found the draw better on them, and ive heard others say they are better.Got to be worth a try anyway A couple of pics so you can see the slight gap Kat,im not a tank lover but it vapes great on the 109.I cant fault the vape im getting using the 901-510 adaptor,best tank experience ive had to date.

See the review section Kat for my review of the map tank.Its a 5ml tank that you fill up and it takes a modded CE2 cartomiser.You can now get a clearomiser tank from Arry,a UKV member.You simply take the clearomiser tube off the clearo and insert the innards into the tank,fill it up and vape away.He makes them from 3ml up to 10ml capacity.Ive just ordered an 8ml one as i usually get through 6-8ml a day.One fill of my 5ml tank lasts me about 10 hours of heavy chain vaping.

I'm using my Silver Bullet & a GGTB with adaptors to get the height for the Tanks to screw onto at home Kat and then with Tornado/Riva batteries for work.

I'd imagine the 109 would be brilliant with a Map Tank . . . although it's not the discreetest thing to tote to work, plus my handbag is full with junk essential equipment so I take what fits neatly into a spec case.

I am a happy bunny! YEAH....... !!!!!!
I have a 109 and Perpy's low resistance atty and it is a marriage made in HEAVEN
The 109 is a perfect solution for an outdoorsy type like me and the vape and throat hit are fantastic!
I am going to try Camper's clearomisers now because horse gets impatient when I try to top up (difficult to hold reins and top up cart at the same time.)
The 109 is awesome and I am going to give all my tank stuff to my OH Graham, as he has never experienced the difficulties that I have with them, to be fair. I must be a very heavy vaper

Pinhead has no idea I am writing this, so I hope it is a nice surprise, because it is a ab-fab mod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
