Vamo Starter Kit

Hi,

Just joined the forum ,been vaping nearly one year now.

I have Ego C Twist with the Vivi Nova, but I'm contemplating purchasing a Vamo.

I dont have a charger or any batteries for a Mod, so I think a Vamo starter kit would be ideal.

Seen a SS Vamo on Vaporbreak inc p&p $62.38 (no atomisers)

Or on Zainynet , which is slightly dearer at $63.90  which includes 2 Vivi Nova's. - however its not SS , but only Black Chrome.

On Zainynet, I can order all the items seperately,excluding the attys,which would cost $64.80.

 The Vamo that I order seperately is the stainless steel Vamo Mod VV/VW (body only) with gold spring,

What is the difference between the Vamo in the starter kit, and the stainless steel Vamo Mod VV/VW (body only) with a gold spring?

Which option would you buy, or is there another Vamo starter kit,you would recommend?

Welcome to the forum.

The only difference between the two is the material they are made of. The dark chrome one is chrome plated brass and the SS one is full stainless steel. The SS one will be more durable, have heard that the dark chrome ones don't wear well and the coating wears off over time. Both of them should have a gold spring, there was an issue with the spring when they were first released causing the bottom cap to heat up, the gold spring solves the problem.

There's a long thread about vapourbreak on the shopping section. Don't forget you'll also need to buy batteries (18650 and/or 18350) but stick to reputable brands and avoid anything with fire in the name and also get a decent charger (xtar or intellicharger are highly regarded)

Hi,
I ordered mine from zainy, no problems so far,
1x ss vamo,
1x Wall charger with uk plug,
1x 2x18650 batteries,forgot the price but it was about £33 delivered i think,

Charger is fine not had any problems with it does what it says lol, charges to 4.2v
Batteries are also fine they last ages with a full charge,
Vamo also no problems came with updated spring etc,

I see a lot of people saying these Chinese chargers/batteries are terrible,mine seem fine and for what they cost im more than happy(if you disagree that's fine this is my opinion),

Also im sure there's a Chinese holiday coming up soon so your order may take ages check the sites for the holiday dates,

oredered mine from Vapour break charger did give out,but needed a decent one anyway bear in mind it took working days to arrive,plus note the Chinese New Yr holiday so it may well take longer,you may find one in classiffieds,i think theres 2 up for sale there save ordering it from china and there practically same price

i dont nind about black crome but the things i have heard about Vaporbreak as put me off buy from them there is a guy on here and the guy at Vaporbreak just laughed when he had a problem DID NOT SOUND GOOD TO ME i would always pay a bit more and know if something was wrong i can get it fixed all the best vic

Tbh i would get the ss one but its your choice,

Yes indeed, I just ordered mine. I got the SS Vamo, the charger, 2 x 18650 and 2 x 18350 batteries for £48 approx. including shipping. Im not expecting great things from the charger but then again I haven't seen the SS Vamo (body only) for less than £49 plus p&p in the UK.

Just to clear something up. The SS kit on Vaporbreak is $44-40(£28.25) including shipping, no atties with it, but you do get the charger and two 186350 batteries as you do on Zainy`s site. You wont see this price until you register on the site.


The SS kit on Zainy.net is £36-50 with two good Vivi Novas,they actually have spring loaded centre contacts on them which are excellent, vape well too. Zainy does not however appear to do the SS Vamo in a kit option. It`s Chrome or Black Chrome. It will wear. Having got the three kinds myself I would not buy any but the SS version. The Chrome one is wearing round the fire button and the brass is starting to show through. The black chrome one I have is okay although other users have reported wear on the finish.


The chargers that you get are very typical of the chargers that you get in kits from China. The batteries appear to have a reasonable charge life for that size battery, I use them myself.

That person was me.

A lot of people have been very happy with the service from vaperbreak and Robby has had excellent service from them. I was just unfortunate. I will not buy from them again not because of the smileys or the lol's as that appeared to be a breakdown in communication ( language barrier ) but I believe that items should of been checked before posting. Would I buy again from china, well yes I would but it will be with zainy on where I bought my chrome vamo from. I would forget buying a starter kit and just buy the body as you end up buying a decent charger and batteries anyway. either a xtar or nitecore charger will suffice and batteries from a reputable vendor or tourchy the batteryboy on ebay.

It took 7 days(5 working days)
You get a discount for registering with zainy cant remember the numbers,
Im very happy with it the charger and battery's are fine, and the vamo is great, feels solid im not sure about the other versions of it but for me my money was always on the ss one

Just to re-assure you, wherever you buy your Vamo, you will be getting the same goods, there is only one factory producing the Vamo.
