I have the same scenario as BC

I did have another weird thing happen though. Gordy sent me a PM yesterday. I answered it, but his second response did not appear until tonight even though it had yesterdays date and time on it.

I've changed my settings to have a email notification as well . . . I've had the email, but the actual PM's have taken some hours like you Dolly to appear in my Inbox.

Well at least its not just me then. Not a lot we can do about that i guess. Must be a Proboard glitch

I do quite like the full conversation in the PM's but downside is when looking at your messages if you started the convo and was the last to post a reply there's no way of seeing who the convo is with unless you open each one. It just shows the name of starter and last message. Kind of stupid for a message listing system. Certainly needs some refining by Pro Boards.

I like the list style of the conversations but find the rest of what has been mentioned thoroughly annoying

Strangely enough my notifications disappear as soon as I've read the message and reload,so no probs on my end

P.S. Using Iron SRWare browser, flavor of Google Chrome

This particular one was from a new message I got when I was still reading the conversation and is still there...

oh that ought to be a glitch, I presume it will disappear when you log off and log back on

I tried that and even switched computers..It's still there..

hmm that's strange, as I said my notifications go as soon as I open the message, even while I was reading one of the new messages the balloon/bubble with number in it appeared,then I opened the message and bubble is gone for good
