Yep thats them.. And i do know what u mean. When i was linked to them i wasnt convinced either, but they are perfect. Smaller one for the mini, larger one for the full size nova and then a choice of colour to match your battery. In the pic they look straight. But in actual fact they are narrower at one end. The narrow part screws onto the battery thread and then when you put the nova on it its a perfect fit. Its purely cosmetic but makes it look great.

Sorry mate, just home from work. The small plinth gets only slightly wider at the top.. Its actually designed for the smaller nova. I think the description you read is just suggesting that it CAN be used with the larger one rather than made for it. With the large nova on a small splinth the nova will be a slightly bigger diameter than the battery and plinth. Its kinda difficult to explain. Probably the easiest way to describe is to say with either a small plinth and a small nova or a large plinth with a large nova.. if you ran your fingers from the bottom of the battery upwards to the top of the nova, it would feel like one continuous run with no ridges. But as I said either nova will actually fit on either plinth and still look better than using no plinth at all. Really hope this helps.

Definitely get a plinth. I'd also recommend the mini. I don't use the big one. My plinth was called "type B"...but don't quote me on that.

Indeed if you are definitely going for the smaller nova, then as Tom and djs said... Its definitely type b that u want.
