Can you recommend a supplier for price and quality for one of the above,if i get the mini do i still need a plinth?

If you're fitting it to a Riva/Ego battery, then it will look better with a plinth.

For me i don't go for looks, How do i know this? I am using a Vamo with just a cart fitted...lol

As Chris said,it does look way better with a plinth. I got a couple of both size Novas the other day as an upgrade to my CE4's. Personally i definitely prefer the large one, tho others have said they see virtually no difference.

Thanks,they are riva and ego batts,is the plinth for the mini as well as the regular one

Are the metal ones any better as regards quality

I use the nova and mini.

I use the mini nova for out and about with ego batts (small plinth).

I use the normal size for at home /car/work with the vamo.

The metal tanks are probably better for the juices that can cause damage to the plastic - banana flavours etc

I use only tobacco flavours so it may not make a difference i guess

I did get a metal one in the two i bought.. Purely so i actually had something that i could look at and think... OOOhhh i know what juice is in there Unlike in the 8 identical clearos ???
Other than that i havent noticed a difference between the metal or the clear
