Problem with member

Last month I ordered some liquid from a member on here and it didnt arrive, I then got a card from the post office saying that not enough postage was put on it, and that I would have to pay 2.60 before I could pick it up, I told the member and he said he would pay the postal cost. I think I have given him plenty of time and hes now not answering my p.ms. It was six pounds for the liquid and I know that isnt much but I dont think this is the way to be at all. I think either he should pay the postal cost and I will go and pick it up from the psorting office or give me the money back, as they only give you so long and the liquid will be sent back to the sender anyway.............Ive thought long and hard prior to putting it on here but I dont think this is the way to be treated at all.

Mary I'm sorry you've had this experience. Most transactions on here go the other way, with overwhelming support and generosity. I hope he member concerned reads this and does the right thing. If not, maybe one of the mods can help?

As oneday has said Mary, it is most unusual for this sort of thing to occur on this forum. My dealings with members has always been a pleasurable experience...Is the member in question still logging onto the forum?...Maybe give it a day, to see if he/she sees this thread & if not, speak with one of the mods....I hope you get it sorted as it reflects on us all.

If you check their profile on the summary tab it will show the last time they logged on. You can work out if they are ignoring your PM's or if they haven't been online. Maybe they have issues and haven't been online, maybe they are ignoring you.

I agree with you both, Ive never had any problems before this. The member has been logging on.........Ill give it a few more days and then get in touch with one of the mods. As I said its not the money, its more ...its not the way to treat people.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been so badly treated Mary. I really do hope that the person concerned sees this thread and does the right thing. It's a shame that you have had to resort to this to get any kind of response.

that is very unfair of the member ...i know you would like to give them another chance to sort out the situation before naming them but i also feel this could be useful to add to their classifieds feedback for future transactions by this person

Everyone is quick to give positive feedback but hesitate when they have a negative experience? It shouldn't be like that.

Ewol.................Its hard to know what to do in this kind of situation as its never happened to me before, and the only feedback ive ever left before has always been positive.............But, on thinking more about it I think you are probably right.
