Thanks for the tips Frogster. Will fiddle with the concentrations a bit more and see how it goes. If I'm honest I didn't really know if I was going to manage anything remotely vapeworthy, but pleased that it worked out ok. Of course there's always something to be said for beginners luck

Smudge, whilst working on a mix you can always leave out the nicotine base and make say 5ml of a Nic Free juice to get an idea of the ratios and what works and what doesn't, it saves the cost of the nicotine. The nicotine (if it’s a good pure one) will have no effect on the final flavour.
Adjust the calculator to 0% Nic and it will substitute the required PG/VG for it.

That's what I have just done, a batch of 10 variations all without nic to test the flavours.

Brilliant suggestion - thanks Using the PMS nic (in the lovely blue glass bottle) and seems to be excellent quality. Certainly won't mind doing mixes that don't work so well if I'm not wasting the nic base. Thanks again!

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but maybe someone here can help: I've got the irish cream capella flavour and it doesn't smell very good. Quite harsh and chemically. Anyone here mixed it up on its own, and if so, how did it turn out? I'd like something similar to Grizwalds irish cream juice, maybe a tad creamier......perhaps I could add a bit of CCW cream or PA bavarian cream (also getting some capella viennesse cream)...would appreciate your opinions here. I haven't used Capella's Irish Cream Boo, but don't be put off by the smell, it's how it makes up . . . which you won't know until you do. I wouldn't add Bavarian Cream to it, that's quite a ' cakey ' flavour - you'd do better to add a straight cream or even a Vanilla. TPA's Irish Cream is lovely, very authentic, if you do decide to try another make.

I've found that Capella Irish cream has a very strong taste of whiskey rather than cream. What I'm loving about the Capella concentrate I've bought is how it turns a nice orange whilst steeping They are certainly the best flavours I've tried so far and Perps vanilla custard I've already polished off 10ml and now I'm waiting patiently NOT for 30ml to steep.

Cheers britnick. I shall splash a dollop of cream in then, see how that works.

Go steady on the cream Boo, most Cream concentrates are quite potent . . . a dribble rather than a dollop might be best.

Congratulations Smudge . . . you've done really well. Such fun isn't it. Hehe, certainly is. Who'd have thunk packing in the fags could end up being so entertaining Oh and before I forget (again), my compliments to you on that lovely vanilla custard recipe of yours - it's delicious. Only made up 10ml first time and didn't last very long, so now have 30ml doing it's thing in the airing cupboard - roll on the weekend
