Kit just arrived - couple of what next questions

Virgin internet is dipping in and out today and I'm having trouble viewing vids and I'm also flapping as customers keep interupting my train of thought and ringing me - how rude

Question: I have unscrewed  ( cone ??? ) something off the battery. I have gently screwed the battery onto the usb and that has been attached to my laptop for half an hour. I have a green light on the USB charger. About ten minutes ago the battery was flashing a blue light for about 20 seconds. How do I know when its charged ?

Then what do I do and also ....

Once its charged then how do I get the lid off the ejuice - is there a knack to it. It is resisting all efforts so far !!

Once the light goes from Red to green on the charger it should have finished charging.
One thing I noticed is the batteries have to be on to charge so when you take it off charge the battery will be on.
For getting the lids of the liquids, pain in the butt aren't they, good old child proof lids lol.
Press down on the lid and twist, I've had one that wouldn't come off, but they can all be tricky.

I'm a bit new so forgive me if I'm wrong.

I think the blue light flashing along with the green light on the USB charger means it's fully charged.

Re bottles - push down hard and twist anticlockwise.

One thing with the battery charging is to plug the charger into usb first then screw the battery in till the light goes red and the battery flashes.
If you screw the battery in first its easy to screw it in to far and push the centre pin into the battery so it doesn't work.

Karen, the batteries come with a factory charge, hence why the light turned to green so quickly

if you have the vision clearo the tip[mouth piece] unscrews,when you fill it do it at an angle so it goes down side of that rubber piece,if you think some has gone down it.ie gurgling sound,then remove from battery and place bit of tissue underneath and blow,also look in center of battery if you see a film orf juice wipe it out as it will stop it connecting...
like chrissie said they are aleady charged...so way you go and enjoy ---dont inhale fully till you get used to it and hold the thing horizontal to your mouth

Bit confused. I have both clearomiser and cartomiser with the kit ( I think ) What is easiest to start with ?

Basically you're squeezing it down the side avoiding the middle.

So you have just received your Beautiful Riva 1100 and now you want to test it out!!

Here we go....

Setting up your Riva 1100 for the first time step by step guide:

Unpack and get familiar with the goods:

2 x 1100mah Batteries (3 Clicks on/off)

1 x Vision Ego Standard Resistance Clearomizer

5 x Standard Resistance Cartomizers

1 x Cover Cone (Screws over the Cartomizer to make it look nicer)

1 x USB Charger

1 x 510 Drip Tip (Mouth piece for use with the Cartomizer)

1 x Carry Case

Note:Batteries come partly charged so this is optional, I prefer to just charge them fully and get it over and done with.

Plug your charger into a usb port and charge your battery’s by screwing them into the charger (not too tight), you will see the light on the charger go from green too red (red meaning it's charging), once charging has finished it will go back to green (battery is now fully charged)

Now you have two fully charged batteries lets move onto the next part...

There is two ways to fill a Cartomizer....

Dripping method:

Condom method:

Most common is the Condom method

How to fill a Clearomizer:

If choosing to use a Cartomizer leave to rest for 15-20 minutes so the filler gets fully soaked (Some may say you can use it just after five minutes but I prefer to let it rest as long as possible, better to be safe than sorry)..... If it aint fully soaked you will get a burnt taste when you use it for the first time and that taste will not go away so the Cartomizer is now useless.

If choosing to use a Clearomizer leave to rest for five minutes so the inside parts (mainly the wicks) get fully soaked, you can speed this up a bit by shaking the Clearomizer around so the juice has fully touched all parts.

Now you have two fully charged batteries and a Cartomizer or Clearomizer fully juiced up.

Now to test out the Riva.....
Take hold of your Riva battery and press the button 3 times to power it up (3 times on and 3 times off) – (Lights flash blue when you do this)

Whatever you filled up with juice whether it be the Cartomizer or Clearomizer screw it onto the Riva battery (not too tight).

If you chose the Cartomizer put the Cone that was supplied with your Riva on top of the Cartomizer and screw on (not too tight) and then plug your Drip Tip (Mouth Piece) that was also supplied with your Riva into the top of the Cartomizer.

Almost there....

Now what I do when fitting a new Cartomizer or Clearomizer is to press the power button atleat 3-5 times for just 1 second a time just to get the heating element inside the Cartomizer/Clearomizer used to the liquid.

Once that is done you are ready to vape away.

When vaping I tend to hold power button for 1 second without dragging to let a bit of vape build up in the Cartomizer/Clearomizer and then drag nice and slowly and long (not hard dragging)

You have now had your first Riva 1100 vaping experience....ENJOY.
