Oooer.....it's gone big!

I haven't changed anything on my lappie, but just come back on & now I have to scroll sideways as the page is so wide. Is it me or has something happened since I was last on a wee while ago?

Hi Jess.


On your touchpad use a finger of each hand, and start at outside edges, slowly slide them inwards, this should reduce you viewing window size.

If that does not work try:

You may have accidentally on your touchpad enlarged the image size /page.
If you are using Windows 7 O/S, go to top right hand corner, just below cross(x) you will see 3 horizontal lines (-),left click on this, then drop down menu appears, scroll down to "zoom", use - symbol to reduce back to size you want. Once done close settings window on top of screen.

If you normally make it hibernate/stand-by or sleep, a full shutdown and restart once a week is a good idea.

It's just the right size for me now! Since the change over, the page was about an inch each side, smaller than the screen.

I wish the font size would get a bigger too. I find I'm having to wear my specs more now.

Maybe they have changed it for those that have a bigger screen and just not told us how to modify it

If you are using Chrome you can shrink or enlarge the page. At the top right, underneath the "close page" button you have a symbol that has three horizontal lines. If you click that you will see a zoom control, you can zoom up or down in percentages   I am sure that IE and Firefox have something similar.
