Been a tough uphill struggle over the last few days with this vaping thing.... Really annoyed as I spent so much on some lovely gear but have found myself smoking a couple a day.
Started off with the stupid stress over my car last friday, after pouring nearly £800 into her and STILL not flipping working I ended up PX her for a celica (coupe/sports car) the missis went mental and could not resist smoking due to the stress she was chucking on the whole situation. (and she is still miffed off big time!)...
I was doing so well, saving loads and just over a flaming car I end up smoking again =(
Nice revamp btw, not been on for a while now.

Don't beat yourself up over a couple of smokes a day mate. If that's what it takes to deal with the stress, just go with it. Just think how many you'd be smoking if you didn't have all that shiny vaping gear - I bet it'd be a damn sight more than a couple! Best of luck

I was blinded with all the fancy gear and because i couldnt set it up right i found that i was getting mad and stressed. I never smoked but was damn close. Everytime i wanted a Vape it would break. or be too low on ohms etc. So i got my Ego i started with used a Boge Dual coil put some 24mg juice in and i was happy =]best Vape in days. I still use the Dual coils and i will until i can use the rebuildables

i've been thru a similar thing, £1800 van has cost to date (only had it 6 months) £2100 on top to keep running, needing a new gearbox, fuel injectors, pressure sensors and what not and the problems still keep coming and yes i've smoked a few ciggies due to the stress of money and the mrs BUT! its nowhere near as much as i would've smoked that i not been vaping. never buy a renault kangoo van by the way they are unreliable crap, get a provari instead cos it might not get you very far but it wont let you down!!

Don't worry about having a couple think how many you're avoiding! I've found myself having the odd couple of cigs here and there usually due to stress or after a few drinks! Best thing about vaping is you can get back to not smoking easily! With any other stop smoking method I've tried if I had a couple of smokes on a night out I'd be straight back on the smokes full time but with vaping I can have the odd couple and get away with it.

Jake............don't beat yourself up over such a minor thing.......Many of us have been there, but it's not the end of the world...I'm still having the odd one here & there, but I count the ones I'm not having, as opposed to the ones I am....For now, look at it that way & you'll feel better about yourself. Sod the stress....sod the guilt.....enjoy your wheels. You're only here once mate.......... P.S. I've started your thingy, but maybe you better p.m. me..............

There are many people who 'dual-fuel' for ever, never quite giving up the last few cigs. So what? Every one that is avoided is money in the bank and, more importantly, a point on the health score-card

If we are honest, a lot of us have been there, done that Jake, I have. It`s not about weakness, it`s about stress and what what we used to think was an answer to stress. As other posters have said, the beauty about vaping is that you can jump right back on the wagon and continue where you left off. I had feelings of guilt and spent ages trying to analyse it but realised I was vaping again and not missing anything and trying to learn from it. You`ll be the same, it`s no biggie mate

All I can say is enjoy your Celica, I have always liked the gen 6 but I will assume you have a gen 7 as they are newer. I'm sure this will pass and settle down and you will be back to vaping again. P.S Daughter is just getting rid of her Celica for a Subaru WRX, car mad lol

Trying to enjoy the wheels but cant so much with the darn missis going on at me.... the thing that gets me the most is she beats on about me having a "family car" when we are getting her a darn people carryer! CRAZY.... Give the motorbikes up (my passion)to get a car, it blows up on me so I do a compramise, car (be it not the most "family friendly") and something I can take a passion with. The one thing comes to mind, never happy.... Cheers for the reply's anyways, been vaping some stronger juice today and only had the one. Only realised, both my provari/vamo and evic batteries are all dead so using my ego whilst they charge up. The ego looks rather amusing with a vivnova ontop

I just gave up working as a breakdown and recovery mechanic last year.
With a 90% fix rate accross all models I was confident of fixing most problems at the roadside.
But about 80% of the jobs which I couldn't fix at the roadside and had to recover were Renault or Peugeot.
