Excellent work Sean. If I ever need a 'Manbag' I know who to ask.

Thanks Chrissie, I'll pop over there. I generally don't work in leather but we'll see what we can do! And thanks Lee, I'll be waiting for your order! LOL And Lynda, you are now in VERY good company... just had an order come through to supply some kit to some "special" soldiers! Well chuffed! Sean

What I really want to know, but am afraid to ask, is what is a 'dump pouch'?

LOL... a dump pouch is a large pouch with an elasticated opening. Easy to put stuff in but hard for it to fall out. You pull your ammo out of it's pouch and when the magazine is empty, rather than trying to get it back into the narrow ammo pouch, you 'dump' it into the dump pouch! Afterall, the last thing you want to do in a firefight is fiddle around trying to put your kit back neatly! Sean

I had wondered if it was some kind of recyclable doggy bag... To be honest, if I was in the middle of a firefight I probably wouldn't care what happened to empty magazines!

Well, I finally got my grab bag today and now I know why lynwlt loves hers! These are really well made rugged bags with umpteen pockets and loops to put things in - it is going to be fun figuring out what to put in them all! They are sizeable as well - You could get an extensive vaping collection, chargers, plugs and everything else you need in one of these and still have room for a flask and some sandwiches Thanks Pinhead you do a great job on these!

Dave, many thanks for the kind words - I'm really glad you like it. Bags are actually quite hard for me to do as my machine isn't really suited to making bags (commercial industry use a machine imaginatively called a bag closer). They are quite rugged and wear-resistant but sharp things will cut through them (after all, fabric is fabric!). They are also a decent size imho... big enough but not so big as to be awkward. I hope it serves you well mate. Sean

Dave,
Just a word of advice....
The velcro on these bags can be a killer if you're wearing a woolly coat or a jumper...
I've lost count of the times it has attached itself to my coat sleeve, usually when there is a queue of people behind me.
On the plus side, my idiot puppy has tried and failed to make a toothy impression on it!

£45 for something that will last isn't that bad!
I'm always breaking bags, carry too much weight in them!
I shall bear this in mind and when things settle down money wise, I'll be in touch!
