Something that has just been brought to my notice, is that a lot of the pubs around Soho will charge an entry fee on a Saturday night.....It's a very busy place....Thought I'd best mention it.

I am pretty sure ordinary pubs and bars do too Alan. Maybe not all though.
I used to own a taxi company and i remember a couple of drivers mentioning it although that was way back in the 90s.

Is the Shakespeare's Head still in Soho?
That used to be half decent albeit a little pricey.

Can't remember them charging on a Saturday night, but that was many moons ago.

There also used to be a little pub off of one of the side streets too, but I can't remember the name of it now.

No idea. I haven't been to soho for at least 10yrs!!
I do know the entire area has only 3 types of premises nowadays. Pubs, restaurants or sex shops/shows.

Well, one bit of positive news........If we end up stuck for a venue, Brenda has very kindly offered us all the use of her lampost, which apparently is handily situated within a tissue drop of all the local "amenities". She has, however made one stipulation & that is we all 'dress'( or undress as the case may be )in the appropriate attire of the surrounding area, in order to attract more potential clientele to her patch. Business is rather slow for her at present, I'm informed & she needs all the help she can get. She returned home last Saturday with the meagre sum of £2.01p clutched tightly to her ample bosumage & when I asked her who the tight sod was who gave her the 1p, she replied..."all of 'em", so you can understand her eagerness to trump up more trade. If anyone is short of said attire she has kindly offered a selection to us, although that will entail a short visit to her 'dungeon'....I'll leave it up to you to decide.........

Last I heard macca, it's going to be at UK e-cig's place in Soho or a pub nearby. I think the pubs are still being looked at.

The plan is that we start at UKe-cigs lounge in Soho,then we move on to a nearby pub,I am waiting for at1 to give me the final arrangements though because his lounge is still being built
