Method69uk, Have a look here for a test report lygte-info.dk/review/Review%20Charger%20Soshine%20SC-S2%20UK.htmlIt seems to be saying it is a good charger but slow, as up to 3.72 volts only charges at 180mA. Even if this has been sorted in newer ones it is likely it is still a soft charge to start with. You only get the full charge at the end of charging. Whilst this is common for most chargers they do charge at a higher rate at lower voltages. You may find even though the nitecore charges at lower current rating it is actually faster overall. Slower charging does prolong the life of your batteries. I have an Xtar wp2 II and often switch it to the lower 0.5amp setting rather than 1 Amp. On the site linked above, he has also tested the Nightcore Hope this is of some use to you making a decision. Cheers Brambles, very helpful
How do you find your Xtar charger? What sort of times for charging an 18650? (on average)

If anyone could track my order I'd be eternally greatful. I placed the order on 14th october and still nothing. RT199180970HK I had an order from Fasttech that was shipped on 15th October and hasn't arrived. I opened a ticket with them a couple of weeks ago and they said that a lot of stuff was being held up with customs, but once it's been 8 weeks you can ask them for an unconditional refund, which I've now done.

lol thanks all, at least I'm not the only one that's seen the film (not saying sticky residue anymore!) on windows or whatever.
Yes, I was worried about the possibilities of whats on my insides, but I'm sure it must be a whole lot better than what I would've had from ciggies!

Has anyone noticed a sticky film left on windows etc wherever you vape?
I've noticed this recently in the room where I spend most of my vaping time and have to say it concerns me a bit..

I have heard that some irresponsible shop keepers around my way have been selling these shisha pens to school kids. My friend and I were in a shop the other day and a girl of about 11 came in wandering around puffing on one! We both looked at each other like ..WTF?! Couldn't believe my eyes

Today I took a battery out that had been charging for about 6 hours and my Vamo showed it was at 4.1v.
How can it be taking another 4 - odd hours to show a green light at 4.2v? Weird.

Method69uk an 18650 should last you 2 days, so have one in vamo just charged, and charge the other one on rotation every 2 days so that you always have a ready-charged battery to swap. I must be abusing my Vamo something chronic GunJack - I have to swap batteries once a day at least! Might have something to do with the fact I'm off sick and spending a lot of time at the PC..

What charger have you got Brambles? Looks like I need a 1 amp charger!
Not sure what the Nitecore i4 maximum is.. wish I'd looked into it first..

I suspect your charger is 0.5Amps max. It will take forever with large batteries. If you had a 1 Amp charger then it would be reduced to around 4 or 5 hours. I've just looked on the bottom and it says "output 4.2v at 500ma" hmmm.

Haven't really timed it, but something more of the order of 4-5 hours for the NCR18650B (which holds a lot more charge) Would you recommend those batteries barrynorton? I was looking to get another couple as I don't want to be left with no power while I have these long charging times!

Hi all
I received my Vamo V3 a couple of weeks ago from Fasttech. (love it!) I'd also bought a couple of Torchy 2600Mah 18650 3.7v batteries as I heard they were decent.
How long does it take on average for you guys to charge up similar batteries? The first charge took me about 10 or 12 hours and I'm finding that this hasn't gone down.. they're still taking me 12 hours if not more to fully charge to 4.2v.
I'm currently using a Trustfire TR001 charger as Fasttech didn't have the Nitecore i4 in stock when I ordered my Vamo, but I have one on order now.
I'm sure others have said their batteries charge a lot quicker than 12 hours! Is this a charger issue or a battery issue?
Thanks
Steve

I have some 3 and 4 mg stuff as that's what I use. What sort of flavours do you like?
Alternatively I can make up a few samples of 6mg juice if you like

I actually took this path in reverse.. I saw a seller on Ebay a few weeks back doing the GS-H2.. He happened to be local so dropped it round to me the same day. It was my first BCC and I love it.
Only after that did I order myself an Evod and a Kanger Protank Mini 2 earlier this week.
Really loving the Protank (after I re-wicked it) But I think I have to say, right now I prefer the GS-H2 to the Evod
*Edit - Although I have to say, the Evod feels a bit more quality in the hand than the GS-H2, to me anyway.
