Last week i brought a riva 510 kit from paradise vape and have been really happy with the battery on em.Neways come to today and an atty messed up both of the battery's put the atty on one it got really hot and i mean hot and the button wouldnt work and just stayed on.Not thinking nothing of it tried to charge the battery but dead nothing so i didnt worry at this point as i still had one.Anyways tried the same atty again thinking it was the battery same thing all over again got really hot the button wouldnt work and the top of the batt got really hot.The atty would just stay constantly on without pressing the button. So feeling really gutted now as im back down to two standerd 510 batts gonna have to order another kit this weekend coming now.

It's hit or miss with attys, Roachie. Most of them are very good, but occasionally you run into some bad ones. Chalk it up to experience.

((( Roachie ))) As Jerry says, the atomiser's are the weakest link . . . but surely you don't need to order another kit, just some more atomisers? I can easily let you have a couple of LR510's to tide you over if you'd like - PM me your address.

I have the same kit and you've worried me now I've just boil washed my attie as it was starting to taste funky. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the juice so I figured I'd wash it to see what happens. It's been reliable up to now though. I've had it on the go since Saturday and I am constantly vaping.(Far more than I ever smoked) I still haven't touched the other one in the kit. I can also pinch one of my wife's as she got the slim 510 kit but the atties are the same.

Aww ty so much for your all your kind words. Is this really the atty?as it has totally fried both of my batts? lee i wouldnt worry mate as it was my first atty from my TW titan kit and its the third week in now of using it. Its just really weird how its done this as both of my brand new (6days old batts are both fried.) this has really p*&t me off tbh as i loved these batts. And ty so much for the offer perp i still have three attys it was the battery part i was so annoyed at.As they were both of my best riva batts and the atty bloody killed em so i threw the atty away and my batts.so might just get an ego tank kit at the weekend. You live and learn i suppose and once again @perp ty so much for your kind offer i really do appreciate it and @all who replyd thank you so much for your help and time and if you have any suggestions to why this happened id be happy to know the course as to why it fried my batts.

OK Roachie, I've come across something like this happening before & I think it's something shorting out & though as far as I can remember it's usually a dodgy battery that causes this problem, in this instance, it sounds like a dodgy attie.
Can anyone confirm this?

Ill explain what append and see if you can work it out im not very good at explaining but here it goes lol.
I cleand out me atty last nite as i usually do give it a hot boil wash with boiling water out of the kettle left it to dry over nite.
Putt it on me batt this morning was working ok i vaped using me drip tip as this is my normal routine in the morning.was going ok i took it downstairs and put it on my side and i went to pick it up and it burnt me all the metal was red hot round it.So i thought damn put my ear near atty and i culd hear it fizzing like usual but without me touching the button.
So i tried pushing the button nothing put the atty on and the light blinked fast roughly 20times and when i took it off it blinked 4-5 times tried chagrining it and the red light come on without me even plugging the charger in.
Plugged the charger into the mains and the light instantly come up green so thats when i knew the batt had died i thought s£$t.
So like a div i put the same atty on my second riva batt worked fine frist fire up then it done the same got red hot fizzed without me touching the button and yet again the batt got killed.
i then put the same att on one of my normal 510 batts Manuel and yet again it fired up without me touching it quickly took it off and luckly it saved my batt this time before it killed it.
Sorry for the long explanation.

I honestly don't think that boiling your atties everyday is a very good idea o0 today I just lot my first atty! it worked for almost 2 months ! I alternate the use of it with another one so it doesn't get too stressed lol I only do direct drip on my atties and boil them each 8/10 days +/- !

Ah, so it's fried the batteries as well got you Roachie . . . would water in the atomiser from where it hadn't dried out properly cause this? I know nothing of electricity and its conductivity other than it can be dangerous. Have to say, I'm with Aldo I never boil atomisers ( had a go a couple of times at reviving failing ones and gave it up as a bad job ) the very most I do is give them a blow through if they're a bit 'gluggy' and leave them to drain overnight. By and large ( tempting fate ) my atomisers last a fair time, but again like a Aldo I spread my usage over several so you're not constantly heating up just the one.

Roachie, I think that most us were meticulous about cleaning our atomizers, when we first started vaping. Now, once a month, I just soak them in Vodka for a bit and then rinse them in cold water and put them aside to dry. If I want to get an old taste out of an atomizer, I just rinse it out and dry it.

I never boil atties - I know others have good results, but IMHO it's not worth it. From the sound of things Roache, it has to be that attie that fried your batteries Might have been a dodgy attie or maybe it still had water in it from boiling it? - water & electrical connections just don't mix very well. Edit, oops, crossed posts with Perpy & Jerry, hope you both didn't think I was ignoring you

@perp yeah bloody things and i shuld imagine it dried out well as what i do is is lay my att on paper and leave it by my fan over nite. Was wondering if anyone can point in the right direction in what parts i would need to build up a ego-t. I orderd a 650mah 510 batt today would that fit a ego-t atty? As this would be cheaper than me spending out 40-45 quid for a new kit as its costing me a bomb to keep buying kits. I will say a big ty to you all again i really do appriciate it guys. and especially perp for the really kind offer couldnt thank you enuff (((((( perp )))))) ((((( to all who have helped )))))

Hi Roachie, I too do not think boiling atties everyday is a good idea- where did you hear this advice? It should be enough to blow through really hard from the small end, then leave to stand/drain on a bit of tissue over night. xx
