coughing up some nasty stuff

hey guys,

thats me on day 13 of vaping without a regular ciggy, I woke up this morning with no voice and feeling absolutely rotten, have been coughing up some pretty nasty gunk all day, is this just the rubbish being expelled by my lungs or do you think it might be something else?

Haven't had that experience myself, could it just be a common or garden cold? Or, as you say, lungs clearing out. I sometimes get a slight irritation to my throat if I vape really acidic juices, but nothing major - what have you been vaping?

mainly vapeescape's vanilla and fruit juices, this stuff is like green and manky, no blood that I can see thou

I guess the best advice I could give would be to sit tight for a day or two, if you don't feel any better then call the NHS Direct or get to the doctor to get it checked out. Can't be too careful - hope you feel better soon!

I lot of people who give up smoking report that they spend some time coughing stuff up afterwards. I'd give it a couple of weeks unless you see blood or it gets painful.

I'm having the exact same thing and I'm already being paranoid again. It looks like snot to me. I thought it was coming from my nose, but it seems to be coming when I have a coughing fit. I'm not coughing nearly as much now, but for the first few days I was literally coughing non stop through the night.

thats it exactly, just a darker green, almost like military green, and it smells terrible lol

Go along to your chemist (Boots is best) and get a bottle of Covonia Throat Spray. I use this at night and even have it on my bedside table. I use 5 quick bursts and then sleep like a wee wain.

If it's green and smells it's an infection, most likely flu but could be a chest infection. There's a lot of it going around lately, go see your Doc he/she may give you some anti-biotics.

I started getting chest infections every winter and was one of the reasons I started vaping instead of smoking, I could tell when one was coming on from the taste in my mouth even before the coughing started. Horrid taste.

Its all the shit and crap from years of smoking working its way out by a cough and maybe a cold or infection, but tis how your lungs clear of crap m8 usually.

Snot and flem shouldn`t be green or dark green its just clear kinda gunky , deffo go to quacks maybe a chest infection.

Just as i reading this im vaping away on T-juice afro dizziac and ive been trying for life of me , whats this bloody taste i recognise, well its exactly like covonia guys, nice one on the reminder.
