Hi all, Over the last 3-5 weeks i have been getting Lung pains (not chest) when i am asleep at night, starts about 2-3 hours into my sleep and by the end of my sleep cycle it is really painful. After about 1hr after waking it is pretty much gone, i have tried changing pillows everything but it is still happening. The only way to describe the pain is it feels like my lungs are pulling inwards and when i pull my body outwards it's then when it hurts most. Little bit about it here: wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_do_your_lungs_hurt_after_you_quit_smokingJust wondered if any of you's have also had this

Not had anything untoward yet, Romelee, thank goodness, but it will be interesting to see if anyone else has.

Little bit about it here: wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_do_your_lungs_hurt_after_you_quit_smokingJust wondered if any of you's have also had this But how do you know if you are asleep? I'd check with the Doctor, but my pain in left side has pretty much gone, though I have found (and it seems a thing that is known, at least people on internet mention it) eating certain (often processed/pre-packaged) foods can make me feel short of breath. Though I am not a massive vaper, not cranking up the voltage, not puffing until vast clouds of vapour and then inhaling, tend to take a few drags and then put it down and let it cool. Perhaps try rotating clearomisers or whatever you use, and let one cool down while using another. Also back pains can manifest in strange ways. And Flu type things can cause similar symptoms. Don't worry, but equally, probably best to check with Doctor, and get out for a walk and a breath of fresh (ideally not city) air and sunshine.
