I use an Ego+Clearo, and I have found this very useful. It is easy to slip into shirt or shirt pocket at appropriate times. I especially find it useful when driving.

It's called a chauffeur. Actually, I find exactly the same set up as you perfect.

I'm with Sandra, if I'm driving I tend to have the whole car to myself (wonder why?) so plenty room on the passenger seat! I find box type mods best for this as they don't roll away! I also have back up auto cig-alikes in the thingumyjig bit, just in case That looks like a decent lanyard though for the money Vital!

I had one of those, but it got to be a pain, so I now use metal ring lanyards & have an ego with clearo around my neck most of the time when on the move, but use a 510 auto & carto in the car for simplicity sake. It's lighter to leave dangling from my mouth.

^^ Ditch the passenger + = more maccy d's for you.
Me I just put it in the center console, or my hand, hands are good for holding stuff.

I keep mine in a cupholder in front of the handbrake. Does tend to rattle a little round bends B-| Unless I'm using the lill' Gripper, in which case I can hold it in the same hand as the steering wheel
