were dis-interested in even looking at it. However all non-smokers who have a friend who smokes were really interested and wanted as much info as possible One day they may ask more about it, when they really feel ready & see how well you've got on with it. I've found that non smokers show an interest & have someone in mind. Maybe we're better leaving it to the NS to do the hinting/converting. lol Yep am sure you are right

Irish many of my friends who smoke are inquisitive but can't believe that a ecigg can ever replace that great rollie or cigg that they are hooked on , I know I didn't until my body told me enough is enough and once again I wanted to quit. I stopped trying to convert a while back, but funny enough 1 is now on a elite asking me advice on what's best.

You are right I probably used the wrong choice of words These people want to quit but have used cig-a-likes and think that , that is e-cigs So are not prepared to try any more as have had a negative experience I got these words a few days/weeks ago from a fellow AAEC member when asking why my wife refused to try vaping... "There's no prude like a reformed whore" You can't force people to follow you. I stopped lecturing my wife and she picked up vaping a few days after I stopped doing it. She's now doing really well, but I don't get involved in her adventure unless she asks me.

I've converted 4 people this week, mainly on the fact that they were shocked/surprised I had stopped the stinkies. I'm thinking of asking JasonVE for a referrals discount scheme I remember having a discussion a month or so ago, just after failing with the SkyCig, and when asked if I actually wanted to give up said "No, I enjoy smoking". That still kind of rings true, I enjoy vaping now instead. Its odd because I roll a ciggie some days just to have a taste (I kept some emergency tobacco) and its revolting !!! Mono 1 - Tobacco 0 I WIN !!

Hi, A few months ago my son was having problems with a car he had just bought from a dealer and in the month or so it took them to sort it out we were back and forth every couple of days and had a look around every other dealer to see if we could get something else. Just about every place we stopped the sales guy or mechanic would see me vaping and say "I tried those, they're no good. You'll never give up smoking with them". I had a great big grin on my face when I told them that I had given up the fags but was still getting my my nicotine hit but in a far safer way and I was saving £35 to £40 a week as well.
I think the biggest problem is that most smokers try a cheap cigalike with the expectation that it will be an instant cure. When they find that they still want a smoke they are disappointed and give up on them. If they made the switch over a couple of weeks more would still be on the ecigs. Phil

I have over £200 worth of tobacco left over since i quit,a gift from my parents holiday and i haven't for one second been tempted to go back to the smellies. I found 5 x 50grams of Amber Leaf yesterday. What's that? £70s worth? Can you sell it on ebay? autotrader? Vaping meet?
