thats what i did last week. and then around mid week the postie turns up with around 40 jiffy bags and a couple of boxes. The wife has a fit but then your home free for a while just the one night of moaning 6 times a year

I did that, £90 spent this month and £60 of that was juice.
The juice should last me probably 3 months though.
I bought two Mini Novas as well that I won't need to buy again, just heads each month.

My OH looks after the finances in our house, whilst continuing to smoke occasionally too - grrr!!!
My stealth tactic is to get my best mate to order the gear for me (he's an ex-vaper - had a really bad chest infection over the Christams period, stopped vaping because it was too painful, and decided he had quit nicotine completely and it would have been mad to start up again!), and as I see him twice a week regularly, he just hands it over and I pay him cash plus a bit for a couple of pints for himself - result!!
SWMBO has no idea how much gear I have as I store it in a high cupboard and she's a bit vertically challenged, so I can sneak it in late at night and she's none the wiser!
The lengths we vapers go to to satisfy our addiction hobby, eh?!

Nah, best thing is to be up-front about it all, don't succumb to shiny stuff, and show the savings !! Then other halves can't moan

I track every penny I've spent since I started vaping, with which vendor and what item/juice it was, on a spreadsheet, and show what I would have spent on baccy/papers/filters, net saving so far £168 And as I've got enough hardware for ever (almost ) and at least 3 month's-worth of juice, by May I'll have saved £430

If anyone wants a copy of the s/sheet, pm me an e-mail address and I'll ping one over

I vape and the wife smokes. Whenever she raises the question of spending I just point out the fact I spend about a quarter of what she spends a month on cigs.

She can't argue with the figures so I tend to win, most of the time.

sorry, I don't use any online file repositories, hence offering to e-mail it out. Couple of people over on the TW f

put a £20 note in ashtray say now throw that ash it will make in the bin when i burn it,now have your vape stuff nesx to it,answer at end of day what i have spent on vape gear maybe a lot,But if i decide that when i no longer need it i can re sell it ,on top for what i have saved in a few months from not smoking will double what i would have spent...so end of day i am saving money...when i bought cig/baccy you never thought on how much was being spent you excepted it

lol thought mine would till showed her the banner on how much i had saved,to what i had spent and that had not been turned into pile of ash in bin,now put half a day what i would spend in a pot rest goes into vape stuff,plus will say saved even more making own juice

Over the weekend I ordered eliquid (2)x 10ml's to see if I like them Energy drink & Gv custard flavours.
I got moaned at for always buying liquid.
So I did a quick calculation - ego ce4 + extra cartomiser + several liquids = 93 pound.
Five weeks of not smoking 38 x 3.60 = 136.80 so a saving so far of 43 pounds not massive but if the equipment does not fail should be bigger this month.

Plus my health of course!! I did offer to buy a 2oz pouch tomorrow so that I could go back to rolling 35 a day, having the house, her & her clothes smelling of smoke but the offer was declined....... You can't win sometimes

My hubbie hasn't moaned once at amount of liquids I buy.....just so pleased I'm off the stinkies!!!

Already sounds quite ninja-like to me.

"several liquids" like £70s - worth!

My missus got fed up of "small little envelopes" arriving through the door or even to collect from the P.O.
