Hi,
I am new to vaping, and I brought an E-Lites E200 starter kit (I know, I know - bad bad bad - and I am upgrading ASAP - so no bad comments - I know lol...)
Anyway though - while I have it I wanted to discharge it until it flashes - so that I can test a few things like...
* How long it takes to really recharge to full
* If it really goes through red / amber / green to show charge status. (its a green LED in normal use)
------------------
People may have comments on the 2 stared items - but I will still need to see them for myself to believe 'my' battery does that - even if everyone elses has - im just like that haha.
I do however really want to know what mAh this battery is?
a lot of it is - I think its this number - or its probabblly this number - does anyone know the mAh for sure for the G9?
Just realised I need to know the voltage of the battery and the resistance of the cartomizers they use.
------------------
Also to discharge it quicker than normal so I can test those things any better way than blowing / sucking air through the battery without the cartomizer attached? (as I don't want to waste / od on the juice lol)
Thank you in advance - and I have been lurcking here for the past few days (since I got an e-cig) reading some stuff - actually a great forum!
So to recap I really need to know...
1) The mAh rating of a G9 'E-lites' Battery?
2) The Voltage of a G9 'E-lites' Battery?
3) The Resistance of the 'E-lites' cartomizers
if anyone knows any of these three things I would be deeply grateful to know.
Thank you again.
Timez.

Hi Timez, welcome aboard! I'm afraid I don't know the answer to any off your questions but I'm pretty confident someone will come along shortly who does. This forum is fab. Chris.

I don't know if this is any help, but I had a SkyCig and the battery was 120mah and the cartos 2.4 ohm. No wonder the batteries were always on charge :-[

1) The mAh rating of a G9 'E-lites' Battery? 2) The Voltage of a G9 'E-lites' Battery? 3) The Resistance of the 'E-lites' cartomizers if anyone knows any of these three things I would be deeply grateful to know. Thank you again. Timez. I did know them all, but I suspect my memory ain't so good, as I'm trying to erase it. 1)The mah was never "publicly stated" anywhere in my research. The reason it lasts so long (which it does, believe it or not) is not because it is secretly all-powerful, but because in conjunction with a high resistance carto it won't even hit 3 watts. 2) Can't say - don't know how to easily test on an auto-battery. (Well, I know how to, but can't set it up). 3) I did in fact test some e-tips and they were quite high resistance cartomisers. On a tester that reads about 0.9 ohms touching the probes, I got around 4.3-4.4 ohms. That would make them 3.4-3.5 ohm cartos. I can double check the resistance if you like. I know the charger outputs 150mah. Mine took a good long while to charge. In fairness to E-Lites, they did a jolly good job of matching the battery and cartomiser to extend vaping time. However, after a few recharges, they do lose their initial oooomph. Sorry not to be able to be more specific.

That's ok - I did suspect they never publicly stated the mAh - as I couldn't find an as fact answer - even on their website. I would love to know the real resistance of the cartos - but only as long as it aint too much bother for you to double check? - What did you mean you know how to test the voltage but cant set it up? im quite handy with electronics - any chance you could let me know what I gotta do? so I can try and set it up? lol Timez - also thank you for helping - and hello to the other 2 friendly posters

Almost twice as much power off the same voltage battery. Probably a good deal more vape too. Comparing E-Lites (G9 and e-tip) to an entry Joyetech 510 with a SR carto, the difference in vape is astonishing.

I would love to know the real resistance of the cartos - but only as long as it aint too much bother for you to double check? My memory is fine. 3.4ohms. Let me think about the other question, the trouble is accessing the positive whilst the two are joined together.

To test the voltage on a cigalike battery put the battery in your mouth the wrong way round hold the multimeter on the connections and try to blow. Enough air will pass by the led end piece to activate the air switch. This is how I tested the voltage on my 510 cigalike batteries. I have an elite battery here and tried it but it just flashes as the battery is flat and i have no way to charge it. The fact it flashes shows the switch is activating though.

If you are still interested I have managed to test a fully charged elite battery and it showed 3.85v
