Morning All, Why do you need vv/vw mods when the voltage & ohms are set, according to ohms law this automatically sets the watts? Am i missing something, because that means if your att is say 2.3ohms & volts are set to 5v watts would be 11w? If atty again is 2.3ohms watts are set to 11w volts would be 5v. So in conclusion you only need a vv mod? Please inform me if I AM TALKING CRAP!

You are correct.
What having a VW mod does is sets the wattage as constant.
So when I have my 1.8 ohm head set at 8 watts - I get the same vape as when I switch over to a 3.5ohm head.
It adjusts the volts automatically so the same power (wattage) is supplied.
With a VV mod you would have to adjust your volts until you found the sweet spot again.
I use a lot of different heads which I am constantly swapping plus I rebuild and the ohms varies so for me the variable wattage means I can just swap over and not have to worry.
If I was on a 3.5ohm and switched to a 1.5ohm on VV if I didn't notice and change the volts it would probably pop the coil.
Hope that helps.

I like having the option of both but I've found I can't just swap atty's and use the same wattage as others say they do, they all seem to work best at different power so it doesn't really matter which you use imo.

And indeed I've found different flavours work best at different wattages / volts.
I prefer VW but others prefer voltage.
I would probably get by just fine if I didn't have a VW device.
Good luck!
