My iclear 30 has been permanently parked on top of the evic for 3 weeks now. Really happy with it and would buy another. I would though like to see them smartened up a bit. Plain stainless caps and option to use own drip tip. Nothing wrong with the performance though, consistent and leak free, love it.

Only downside is that my juice intake has virtually doubled. I'm also getting occasional centre post leakage, but I haven't found a clearomiser yet that doesn't sometimes have this.

I picked one of these up. All excited. Loaded it up, let it sit for 20 mins. 7w on the vamo and boom.....burned fried rice taste lol.
Messed about with the settings. Still the same. Gave it a rinse through. Dried it. Tried a different juice. More burnt fries rice lol.
Don't suppose anyone has any idea what could be the issue?

It sounds like a wicking issue to me Jerri, try lifting the rubber bung that covers the coils, just slightly by a few mm,as sometimes it's pushed on to hard which chokes the wicks. You can also cut the slits a few mm more to aid wicking,be careful though as if you cut the slots to much you will get flooding.I would try lifting the bung first and see if that improves it.

Thanks.
Just have that a try, no difference.
Could it be a dud head?
A few times before nova heads have given a burnt taste, quick rinse and a little dry burn sorts it. Have done that with this too and no luck.
Was really excited to get this too.

Right. Swapped the head. Burnt taste gone.
Put my usual all day vape in. Swedish fish. And so far, I can honestly say I prefer the nova. Taste seems really muted.
Will give it a few hours.

Great stuff, glad your new head is better and you are enjoying it now.Maybe the wire was to loose or to tight around the wick in the other head which caused the burnt/horrible taste.

I don't think it vapes very well with thin liquids, thats what I have found anyway, will finish the one I am using then try a thicker liquid see how it goes after that.

I honestly can't say I'm enjoying it. Never has such a dry mouth vaping. Even thought I've turned the vamo right down to 5. Taste is muted compared to the novas. Probably because the vamo is so low, but up it any and it just makes my mouth too dry.
Must just be me. Since I've not heard anyone say a bad thing about it. I don't like GVC either lol.

That`s strange, I have been running mine at 15 watts for a period and no burn taste at all which amazed me. First atty I have ever been able to do that with. Had to back it off though, too much nic intake. It`s the best wicking atty I have had so far. The problem with yours really did sound like strangulation of the wick so that it just couldnt supply enough liquid ???

Swapped the head and the burnt taste went.
But even at low w the dry mouth is incredible. And the flavour is very miter compared to the nova
I've filled it with egg custard tart which is quite a thick juice and will try it with that. If no improvement. It'll be in the classies tomorrow lol.

I would be surprised if the egg custard liquid helps it, isn`t that a good bit thicker?
