If anyone needs me to report when Jay sneaks off for a rollie at work, I'm more than happy! I popped back on here to find out what the score is with the little ego 350 batteries which many vendors don't seem to be stocking anymore and saw this thread.
I'm over 4 years smoke free thanks to a go on jay jay's Provari, so it's good to see him back in the fold!

Is it just me that's been struggling with the humid weather playing havoc with my vaping pleasure? +30 degrees in London for the last few days has been accompanied by poor throat hit and leaking and gurgling. Even filling my evods has become a pain in the arse as I am now getting a drip when I turn them upside down.
Roll on winter!

I can masturbate faster if that counts +1. Less burns too.

Cheers all! As a birthday present, maybe someone could tell me how the hell to use CE4s and CE5s without getting a mouthful of juice? I've recently started using mini ego batteries and love them, but can't seem to get on with either of these clearomisers. The CE4 worked brilliantly for about 4 days before starting to poison me, whilst the CE5 leaked from the word go. There must be a secret to these things?
Can anyone recommend a genuinely leak free, compact clearo that would compliment the mini egos?
Cheers.

I normally vape tobacco (golden rollie today) in the mornings to kick start me, fruit in the afternoons (peaches and cream today) and either menthol, chocolate mint or orange or irish cream in the evenings (feel like choc mint this evening). Do you have different tanks on the go- or just change the juice? I've often thought of changing juice regularly, but I'm put off by the hassle factor as I use a punched carto with tank and only change carto once a week.

Thanks so much for all your help, really appreciated. I have never been too keen on trying the type that involves using liquid but I think it's clear that they are the way to go to avoid the problems I have encountered with the OK brand, certainly for home use anyway. I felt exactly the same as you when I first delved into e-cigs, but once I tried a friends Provari (very expensive mod) with a tank system fitted, I realised that cartridges, although convenient were never going to cut the mustard. You will not believe how much flavour and throat hit are available to you by upgrading and trust me, once you have got used to filling and refilling cartomisers or tanks, you will never look back. Be prepared to spend a good £100 or so in the first month and never lose sight of how much cigarettes cost you on a daily basis. I messed about with cig-a-likes for about 3 months until I upgraded. From the first go with my Provari, almost 12 months ago, I have not had a puff of tobacco. Trust me, you're going to be so chuffed when you upgrade.

For sale: Provari Mini V 2.5 in satin silver. This is about 5 months old and in nearly new condition with only some small surface scratches on the battery cap. I bought it to replace my faulty V2 which I have since had fixed. I prefer the V2, so this is surplus to requirements. Comes with the extender cap. £115 including postage. Also for sale is a Vamo in stainless steel. Not sure which version it it, but it is about 7 months old and is virtually unused as I bought it as a back up device. As new condition. £30 including postage.

Good stuff, it makes me want to try some smaller devices than my Provari to be honest. Can anyone provide the UK names for some of the stuff he's talking about (apart from the twist of course.)

I've gone down the tank carto route and so far I like it a lot, not least because its so light. Re-filling is a bit of a faff, but it seems to get around the problem of cartos drying up nicely. I am still yet to try carts and carto tanks. May have to order over the weekend and give them a go. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 Vapescape do a good little starter kit. I bought a tank puncher at the same time and will try some innokin cartos in it when I get a chance. My mate at work (who also posts here) has used just about every rebuildable shiny out there and now swears by his tank carto. It's been an eye opener for me as I have never got on with cartos by themselves.

I think the problem with clearos is over wicking- with the excess juice dripping off the atomiser and down the centre tube. I've found that you can remedy it by turning up the voltage, but you inevitably then get dry hits.
It's a shame, because for ease of use, they can't be beaten.
