one of my mk2 SDs expired in the exact same way (as the american guy) using a batch one em atty, never did find out why it happened. it totally collapsed the atty spring, which then fell out. raggy........ OMG thats bad mate > Thats not the best advert for Eastmall is it ? Not really sure what to do with my 5 now , its not really gonna be that economical to pay more postage is it ? But i dont want them to kill my beloved SD Maybe the bins the best place for them

I agree Mr l,i also think its not very economical with extra postage to pay to send them back to China.Also its hassle for Perpy which she doesnt deserve.I think EM should have done the decent thing and simply sent us all replacement attys and just asked for a pack back to be tested.We shouldnt have to pay because they f*cked up > Or they should offer to refund for the postage back to China,give a full refund for the price of the attys,and send out some better ones for free.I know if it was me i wouldnt like to lose such valuable custom and its just good business practice.If they did this it would show how sorry they were and i may consider ordering again.As it stands now i would never trust EM again >

i dont know what the law states but i have my own business and if this happens to me this is how it goes. 1 Goods not fit for the purpose 2 the supplier you buy them from supplies new satisfactory goods to you 3 it is the the suppliers responsability to sort out with the manufacturer 4 you send goods back to supplier,supplier organises P&P

That goes for anything you buy you have all seen some companies offering a 14 day money back gaurantee 21 day etc THERE IS NO SUCH LAW.ill try to sort out more info or a link to more info

The thread on ECF is gathering in momentum, there's obviously quite a few people not happy, evidently from other threads this isn't the first time Eastmall have sold substandard atties!

I'm pretty annoyed because I'm on my last usable LR 901 atty now, I'm not overly happy with the LR510's from Eastmall either, they appear a bit spitty and weak.

just my two bobs worth AGAIN. if we are taking the diplomatic route too resolve this then i think we should wait for another response now. any more and i think we will get just get there backs up, they know where peeved off now and they know we can spread the word. if we dont get whats right, then we can continue. i just think maybe pushing them to far might not get the results we want. but heh diplomacy has never been my strong point raggy.............
