Just my thoughts and please don't think I'm presuming to tell anyone what to do, as I absolutely wouldn't - although I organise the order, we're all individual consumers with money to lose on this . . . but I should think this issue has been debated by Di, David & Selina now it's on ECF . . . so I'd leave it for a bit.

My plan is to press for a refund on the return postage and of course the actual number of atomisers returned, EM are more likely to agree to this if they feel we will continue to be good customers of theirs.

I know that would be my thinking in their position.

Just a suggestion when you return the defective atties Perpy. Include a note saying Ian and Mr.L (and any other affected purchasers) have also received defective atties but decline to throw good money after bad by paying p&p to return the defective items.

Yes indeedy, the entire batch is rubbish, not just one or two packs, and EM have either changed the specs or have slipped up badly with QC.

I thought you'd already considered my comments but there's nothing worse than mentioning things as an afterthough when it's too damned late.

Perps, mine were put into the post box last evening, so should be with you tomorrow. I returned all 10. Not sure how many are/are not working as I only tested 2 and gave up.

i just had to change my atty and when i went too my box i see some EM LR 510s.
i then remembered that it wasnt a 901 that blew my SD mk2 it was a EM510 with an adapter.
end story is the same a dead sd and what was at fault i still dont know if it was the atty, adapter or the sd.
sorry i misled a bit there guys, but the old memory needed a re-boot before i remembered.

I have sent an email to GH1 to ask if they are the same quality of LR901's as I had last time. Their LR's were good, in fact they're all I have that I can use at the moment and although they've dropped off in power, they're still working away.

I have also placed a personal order with them and will let you know what the quality is like when i receive them.
