Having not ordered anything last time I've stayed out of this but have now caught up 6 pages.

re the GH1 supplies - I know that earlier in this thread their LR901s were being praised, but the standard 901s popped and died on 5v GDPT Just goes to show... There weren't enough of us using that combo to make it worthwhile raising a "dispute".

Some good news . . . after a degree of to'ing and fro'ing between Eastmall and myself ( apparently they haven't had the atomisers I returned back yet ) I've recieved a credit to my CC for the defective goods.

What I am going to do today, is write cheques to everyone who returned their duff atomisers and get them posted off . . . I hope this is ok, it's easier for me this way rather than trawling through PP for email addresses . . . plus I don't want too much 'gift' activity on my PP account.

Dee & Raggy, I know you both said to keep hold of your money until our next group order ( which I'm more than happy to do ) but if it's ok with you both - I'll send cheques to you as well.

I think I'd rather just start from fresh again, although I thank you both for your trust in me . . . . plus you never know what is around the corner for you in this life and I always like to have my finances completely in order.

A happy day though and I must say thank you on Eastmall's ECF forum.

well what can i say being a pessimist i didnt really think this would happen.
as scylla says you are a special type of person perpy.
i know how hard you grafted on this and your approach was right, my all guns blazing route would probably have fizzled just like the attys lol.
what i do find amusing is how we were told this would happen and we would never get a refund we would all be at each others throats and fall out, by a certain trader.
i know this could of happened, it probably would have elsewhere but not here.
this really is a forum with some truly kind hearted warm generous people.
i use a lot of forums and have done so for many years now, right from the concept of forums, but none have people like this place.

I'm actually quite choked reading the lovely replies . . . it's been a bit touch and go at times this week . . . however in complete fairness to Eastmall and Di ( who refunded me the postage money from her own personal funds ) they did come good in the end.

I'm sad I couldn't get a refund on the entire LR901 consignment, but that was probably pushing my luck.

Again as Raggy says this 'incident' proves what a exceptional cyber group of people we are.

Onwards and upwards now mes ami.

Perpy, no problems on my behalf about you not getting a refund for us folk that didn't send back the LR901's. I've got them working to a certain extent on my GGTS. To begin with they pop & spit like crazy & soon after they have calmed down they die but for the time in between they work well on my GGTS, so I'm more than happy to buy the ones off the folks that didn't send them back for the same price they paid for them.
