You have definately been given the best advice here Rodga, definately a bad connection.I have just fixed one of my Vamos today, every time i put an atty on it was squashing the centre pin down and giving me a LO reading and no vape.Basically, the silicone ring that sits around the centre pin had perished,i took a thicker rubber grommet from an old Boge cartomiser and fitted it around the centre pin.Rock solid contact again and my device is working perfectly. If your centre pin keeps squashing down then its worth checking the silicone ring as they are not the best quality in these cheaper mods.

been searching google for list off codes all i found so far Short Circuit/Atomizer Protection: The Lambo 4.0 can recognize an atomizer with too low of a resistance for the current voltage setting and will drop the voltage to 3.7V to protect both the battery and atomizer. If the atomizer is too low or shorted out the LCD will display "F1" and the device will shut off until the issue is corrected. also alot of discution about batery portected or not and fauls readings

In that case it is a short, probably the centre pin. Check the grommet is not split that insulates it in the connector.

Read on another forum somewhere that it is poor contact on the lambo, but works everytime if they use a 510 to 510 adapter on it Maybe centre contact on the lambo pushed in a touch? and clean the centre contact on the lambo. A bit off topic but I used to use the 510 to 510 adaptor on my lambo with my mini nova's due to the air holes but now use a B plinth instead as I think it look nicer. Also as Robbie says it is more than likely a short causing the F1 error.

Yes, me too, nothing would work without it, just recovered it from my "used to use" box lol and lookin at it I can see how it could short, the centre contact and the threading part are closer together on that than anything else I have, even a bit of swarf could do it.
