Chrome Lambo 4.0

i have had lambo for about 2 mths and it has suddenly started reading f1 in the voltage, which can mean a short or something? basically its dead and useless, anyone else had this issue?

Read on another forum somewhere that it is poor contact on the lambo, but works everytime if they use a 510 to 510 adapter on it  Maybe centre contact on the lambo pushed in a touch? and clean the centre contact on the lambo.

ive had the lambo 4 for about 2 weeks had the f1 3 times all i did was change the clearo for another tested the clearo with a fault on second bat then changed back and was fine its just a conection prob between the carto/ clearo and bat

Well it doesnt seem to matter what kind of carto i put in, it still reads F1, it is permenantly on F1...have tried cleaning it, re-booting it, not sure what else to do?

If you have a 510 adapter, have you tried that? Worth a try

I dont have one Robby, might be worth a try though...seems a shame that no one can help on here

I think the 510 adapter would be your first port of call, it makes sense really because of the mutiple issues that you are having. There are loads of people on the forum here who have the right technical ability. It could be that the 510 adapter wont make good contact either, but if it does then the problem could be solved. You would either have to use the adapter all the time from now on or try and tease the centre contact on the lambo up

Things is i have tried a few different cartos, on it and still it just reads F1, so cant see how an adapter will make any changes...i will buy one today and see what happens-thanks for the link and your help

There is a good chance that the 510 adapter may make a good connection all the time, if that is the case then you are virtually replacing the connector that is on the lambo now. If the centre pin on the lambo has got pushed in a touch then that could be why you are getting faults on all or most of cartos etc

Not sure about a lambo, but I think it may "fault code". Worth a go if you have a multimeter. Even if it reads ok though, if it is slightly pushed down the tube, an atomiser may not make good contact  Depends what you have as an atty as well, if you have access to both sides of the coil you could test there for a voltage.

can you eas the pin ? on caer or lambo ? mambo is sprung loaded  damn i hope mine dont crap out can aford another just yet

Sorry I don't know what a caer or a mambo is? If the LT has a spring loaded pin, it may be stuck in slightly(juice or something) The only chrome LT I have seen did not have a spring loaded pin.
