That's typical of this country.
Mate of mine got caught chuckin a tab end away in the street, got fined £75. They employ peole to walk around the streets catching smokers out.
Could always import E-cigs from abroad. bit more costly probably though.

Buck, at the moment, it can actually work out cheaper to buy direct from China. Several of us, a while ago, got together to do a bulk order from Amy @ www.healthcabin.net/. Her prices are fantastic & her customer service is second to none.

Sadly Revenue and Customs can seize just about anything they wish. Although a Judge in the US ruled that he considered nicotine juice and associated hardware to be 'tobacco products' and not 'drugs' therefore the FDA had no right to seize such goods, this has apparently only been applied to the two companies who brought the case against the FDA, seizures of other companies' goods are still taking place. Our government is, apparently, taking the opposing view that nicotine is a 'drug' and therefore as such should be restricted. I had hoped that suppliers would be given time to submit their products for official testing and licensing but those with the power have seemingly decided otherwise, hence the speed of the ban. It could have been worse I suppose as there could have been an immediate ban. Intellicig and other such companies were obviously given no notice of this intended action otherwise Intellicig wouldn't have signed a lucrative deal to sell its goods through high street outlets. Presumably that and other such proposals will either be shelved permanently or put on hold. We can complain all we like but I doubt minds can be changed by such a relatively 'insignificant' group such as vapers and individual suppliers. Perhaps now that the writing is on the wall, individual users will put their fingers out and sign the petition in more significant numbers than has been the case thus far. I wouldn't be in the least surprised to see nicotine juice and inhalators for sale in chemist shops in the not too distant future as this could be quite a money spinner for the large pharmaceutical companies. Lolli, as Foxy says, R&C can seize anything they wish to. However, I should imagine that every single day there are thousands of prescription only drugs bought via the internet & shipped round the world.
I also still can not see how they can ban the hardware. For instance it's not illegal for anyone to sell bongs yet I bet the majority of people who buy them use them for non legal substances.

MM, no need to go to Jason's site. All the info is here on the UK petition thread & a couple of other threads.
Good to see you BTW :-)

Just wondering...
could the E cig sellers still sell the no nic juice after the ban?
After all, it's nicotine products they're banning, but the E-Cig can be used without nicotine, therefore, technically not a nicotine product.
