if you noticed its all 25 micron for 500 mesh just the size of sheet you require i went for the A4 paper size size

rolled rough 2"x 3" piece of mesh,when you have rolled it use a safety pin down the middle when you torch it A so you dont burn fingers B you need a hollow part [easiest way to keep it]


How to do mesh wick:[my way lol]

Cut size mesh required
Heat mesh til blue grey colour [do both sides]
roll in to tube
insert pin re burn again [this will keep it coiled up]
pour some juice on it ,burn juice off
Some clip an angle off the wick [optional]
Use .2 kanthal
Clamp kantal on screw so wire comes mesh wick side[ found this stops most hot spots]
Coil 4 times fith turn clamp in center post[ with knurled nuts make sure top 2 are flat side down,they are domed one side] make sure coils sort of spaced evenly mine never are].......... when coiling try not ot make them loose or tight ,snug! if possible when clamping top wire push wick towards center post when clamped pull i back slightly[found this stops top hot spots.....
Check ohms[if you can]
drip a bit of juice and tap power till you see vape
fill tank
couple drips on wick again and away you go

yes all of it doubled four wicks hanging down should do the same in your vivi's aswell with that size wick

2MM wick is ample for an AGA. You need to leave room around the wick in the holes.

You do not need to heat the mesh before rolling it. What do you think that achieves?? Roll it then oxidise it.

3mm max is all you need, anyway SS mesh is better, no nasty silica taste.

I heat the edges of the mesh to get any loosey bits off.

Quick flash on one side - takes any tension out - easier to roll.

Rest the same as Roger.

Prefer the ss but use silica for delicate flavours - silica in AGA better than a nova/clearo but not by a million miles....

One thing I might have a go at is a double coiled silica - one coil each side of the centre post on the AGA - not sure if this would work - will find out saturday!!

Try a double SS mesh wick, one each side. Don't forget to collect your head afterwards!!

thanks for putting that idear in my head looks like i'll be in the kitchen now trying that out.

Have to be careful with the ohms - 5 wraps of 0.16 nichrome(need more like 6 wraps I expect with 0.2 kanthal - if not mechanical mod) to get 3 ohms each side will equate to 1.5 ohms...

Anything less and the vamo wont work, ego's will die and the world will come to an end...

2 x 2 mm fits no problem.I even filled it up down the hole where the wick was.
Its vaping great but i just need to get rid of the Silica taste then all should be grand

cool the silica taste will wear off after a few vapes enjoy

Nobody said it won't fit!!! Just that you don't need it. You could get 5mm down there and still get a needle in to fill it FFS
