You want vaping to be classed as medicinal so you can only get it from a pharmacy or doctor after a few years of tests that are required for medicines?

Personally I'm not ill so I don't need medicine and I certainly don't need someone else controlling my nic levels and flavours.

BAT are going to push the EU into regulating nicotine as they are one of the only companies that can afford the classification which means they kill their competition.
No GVC, no Alchemists cupboard, no Hamgsen, dekang etc no legal nicotine for home mixing, just tabacco and menthol flavours in pre-regulated levels in cartos.

Don't get me wrong I think getting e cigs as a medicine would be a disaster.
When I say good article and I like it, this is due to the article itself not being rabid misinformation like the bulk of what we seem to get.

Not hard to not see that they want a slice of the pie. But unlike the vendors who take the little slices this BAT is like a fat kid taking the whole PIE regardless of anyone else.

And thats why I plan on quitting vaping as soon as I can. No point in fighting a loosing battle, unless you have MILLIONS to spend fighting back, and no ecig company in the world would have enough to waver the lobbyests of the tobacco companies.

I'd say that is the long and short of it.

BAT get the approval (huge cost etc..) than it'll be set cartomisers (or similar) at set nicotine levels.

A lml of e-liquid cartomiser will become as expensive, if not more expensive than the £3.99 efforts of E-Lites.

Just you watch. It will happen.

Let us not forget. Nicorette can afford to sell us 7 patches for £7 and make plenty of money. But they choose to charge £15.99 for them 90% of the time because they can.

BAT will offer us 5 cartos for £15 or something from time to time, otherwise, it'll be 1 carto = 20 cigarettes, therefore they will price them at "suspiciously less than 1 pack of fags" - or about £5-6 each, I expect.
