Great, thanks mate! Another quickie, when you blow down it, should you keep doing it until nothing more comes out? or is it safe if only a little bit comes out still?

Loving it nbee! I know what you mean, it's so much better than the cig-a-likes! You actually get a proper hit just like smoking manuals. The clearo is simply amazing, so easy to use and fill up. Having a few issues with the cartos tho lol. Not sure if I've overfilled it or something Used the condom method which a lot recommend for new empties, left to stand for 20 mins or so. Still getting some liquid coming out when I blow through it and it just doesn't seem to work like the clearo, as in I'm not really getting any taste or vape

I thought I'd wait to find a flavour I want to vape all day before filling my clearo. What flavours did you get?

I only have 2, 1 is an 18mg Strawberry (the one my friend gave me so no idea where it came from) which is really nice and in the clearo. The other is 3% Green Apple (from Totally Wicked), which is the one I put in a carto as I hadn't tried it. Was really looking forward to the apple after reading a few reviews, but so far am very disappointed. Not sure if it's just beginners bad luck or just a poor mix

Persevere. When I started, I preferred clearos, then cartos and now my favoured juice delivery method is a carto in a tank. Eventually it all comes down to personal preference

Ok sleepyduck thanks mate, will keep trying and see how I get on, might just be that I prefer the clearo then hehe. Just ordered some 5ml Apple, Cherry and HS Menthol Sensation from Vape Escape, really impressed with his service so gonna try some liquids from there first. See if I like those and go from there I think

Mike, you mentioned watching a video on mixing your own juice. It really is that easy! I've only been mixing about 3 weeks, and have about 100ml of juice steeping or being vaped for a total cost of about £20. And that leaves at least half a bottle each of the flavourings to do it all over again once I've bought some more nic base. Once you have tried a whole load of flavours, don't be put off by the DIY thing - it really will save you loads of dosh, there are hundreds of recipes floating around this forum alone, and loads of people do it who can give you the help and guidance you may need. So glad you are enjoying your Riva - I've never used one, but started on eGo batteries and Vision clearos, which are broadly similar. I can remember the grin on my face after my 3rd drag when I realised that this was going to be the new me - no smell, no coughing and wheezing, and (theoretically) a huge saving - that bit is only now beginning to happen, 5 months in! Keep us posted, and join the ranks of the ex-tobacco smokers on this forum! Andy

Hi Mikeyc and welcome.
The Riva is a great bit of kit isn't it?
Glad you are enjoying it. You will get used to the carto's, but I know what you mean about the ease of use with clearo's.
I'm still not sure which one I prefer...carto, clearo? clearo, carto? Which is better? There's only one way to find out.....Fiiiiiigggghhhhttt!
Sorry it's Friday and I've had a glass of red.
Good luck with your vaping adventures.

I tend to find Cartomizers get better after 1st fill, It seems to me Cartomizors need steeping like liquids, but when they are steeped they are juicy

Just thought I'd update you all on my progress. I went away on a fishing trip which is why I haven't been on to post much, so far so good though! Not a single stinkie which surprised me considering I do love to smoke when fishing. Vaping away on my Riva was simply amazing, felt so good too! Definitely the best thing I've done in awhile, and I can't thank all of you enough Just had my 3 sample juices turn up so time to fill some cartos and try them out, looking forward to it and sat here with such a big smile on my face lol.
