Juice on the lips concern

First I'd like to say I love vaping, everyday am learning something new, boring the pants off my family and friends when I give them my wee pearls of wisdom as to the benefits of Vaping..... nothing worse than a convert is there? 

I gave refilling a cart a go, watched a videos for techniques, I tried the condom method where you use the cap ends the cart comes in filled with juice, slowly pushing down to absorb the juice, this I done with great success even though am blind as a bat.


My major concern is after filling is complete it is suggested that you blow through the cart to clear any juice from the coil, eeek! got the juice all over my lips so washed off ASAP but thought after the fact it was probably not a good bit of advice to put the juice drenched cart anywhere near my lips.

I can taste and feel the juice on my lips even with pre-filled carts when vaping away should I be concerned?

Hi Lainey, glad to hear you're enjoying vaping

Have you tried using a drip tip? It kind of shield you a bit from this sort of thing, and they're much more comfortable than using the bung that comes with the carto too. I wouldn't worry too much about a mouthful of juice - we've all done it

Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about that little drop of juice going on your lips, especially as you washed it off quickly. If you give the carto a good wipe before blowing through, hopefully it won't happen again. Well done in conquering the condom!

Also give the carto a good shake with the bung off.(just be careful not to get it in your eyes - very painful)...

No, it won't do you any harm if you wash it off reasonably soon. But give the carts a good wipe before you use them.

Glad your enjoying your new vaping toy. but as for the juice on the lips, nothing really to be worried about to be honest. I think the best of us have had a fair amount of blowbacks with juice.

I've had LOADS of juices on my lips over the years and swallowed a fair bit too and it hasn't affected meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee flibble dwooop, kerrrrching! :-S

I was worried about ejuice on my hands and lips but as long as you wash them as soon as you can you will be fine.
This is one of the reasons I moved on to vivi nova style atties a lot easier to fill don't have to fill it as often and less chance of blow back
