Hi all,it's been a long time since i've bought any flavour concentrates as i have been using up my stash ;DMy dad enjoys alot of the fruit flavours and i enjoy realistic tobacco flavours. What i'm looking for is strong concentrates as i have been using alot of Healthcabin stuff which takes 20% to get a decent taste.I've tried alot of tobacco concentrates in the past which either taste of perfume or flowers so i thought i would ask for advice before buying. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Hi Ian and how are you it would seem that the cake flavourings from www.cupcakeworld are very favourable at the moment for intense fruit flavours. Can't say about the tobacco ones though because I am reasonably new to this myself, but I'm sure somebody in the know will be along soon

I like the same as you Ian...I've just ordered some Dark Vapure, from F'A, so I'll let you know what that is like when I get it. Have a look on their site at the tobacco concentrates. If you click on one, it'll show a drop down & explanation of taste.......Love the new avatar by the way.The Holder's looking good, even if I did pull a muscle in my neck..... www.flavourart.co.uk/index.asp

CCW are very good for fruits as are Capella and a number of others. go for quality of flavour rather than % required. I would much rather something that was spot on quality and good to vape but needed say 20% of concentrate than a so so one that only needed say 15%.
Tobaccos are a mixed bag.... The best flavours are obtained from home steeps in my opinion, FA Dark Vapour and Perique Black are strong and a good tobacco base to build on, only about 2% is required, they work well together too. Use them as the base and add some home steeped and you are on a winner.
If that helps.

Thanks for the advice everyone.I will look at the fruit flavour ones at cupcakeworld for my dad.I have tried Dark Vapure and perique black in the past but found them very strong and not very tobacco like.Reading Frogsters post i feel i mixed completely wrong with those flavours though as i used them alone at 15% instead of using them as a base ::)I usually just add one flavour to a mix and expect a great tobacco taste so maybe that is where i'm going wrong.I'm always happy with my homemade RY4,caramels and fruit flavours so just need to hit on a nice tobacco mix.Does anyone sell any of these steeped tobacco concentrates?I would be interested in buying some as i don't feel confident doing it myself, lol. Chris...Sorry the photo is so small in my avatar,it really doesn't do your fantastic holder the justice it deserves.I still absolutely love it and would be lost without it now.

Just went and had a look at flavourart and i think maybe a mix of perique black and dark vapure may do the trick. Not sure what other flavours would go well with those two though ???My idea of mixing has always been to add one flavour at 10-20%,shake it,then vape it

I agree with everyone about the Capella flavours they are the best for fruit and desert mixes IMO. However with the tobacco flavours I have never got on with the flavourart ones nor do I have the patience to steep my own tobacco. For a simple tobacco I use TW's Red Label American Red concentrate, you just need 12 - 15 drops added to 10ml of base for a tobacco quite similar to some of the Hangsen premixes.

The tobacco concentrate is very strong that's why you only need a few drops, with the Capella flavours I use around 20% in my mixes but it is all down to personal taste. The Vanilla custard is amazing there's a lot of recipes on this forum that uses it.

Hi Ian, iam no expert but this is what i posted on flavour reviews earlier on: all mixed at 20% with pg nic base and Vg and steeped for 12 days before trying Capella Cherry very smooth flavour quite strong and also very sweet. Capella Strawberries and cream again very smooth, very very sweet with hints of sherbert? really tingles on the tongue on exhale. Capella vanilla Custard so now i know what everyone is raving about, initially first vape overpowering sweetness like "birds instant" then tended to mellow. so far these are the only Capella flavours i have tried and for my tastebuds they definitely do not need any added sweetener.
lemon meringue pie on order so will let you know in a few weeks

That's fantastic ausfost, thanks alot for that.I'm also no expert at mixing,i always mix one flavour at a time with PG mixing base,a few ml of VG then even more PG.I like a very thin PG heavy mix as it works better in carto tanks and the liquid seems to flow perfectly making each carto i use last for 2-3 weeks.I never use any sweeteners, vape wizard or anything like that, lol. From what you have said above i think i will try 10% flavour to start with as i don't want to much sweetness. Thanks to everyone for all your help, much appreciated.

Just a quick update...My Capella concentrates arrived today, thanks for the great service Kev.I have made up 30ml of sweet watermelon and 20ml of vanilla custard and all i can say is WOW WOW WOW.I used 20% flavour and the vanilla custard tastes so beautiful after just a few hours steeping, going to make another batch and let it steep for 3 weeks as that seems to be the done thing. As for the watermelon,it's so refreshing, sweet and well balanced.I still have pear and cherry to try so will make some more mixes tonight.I will be sticking to these Capella flavourings from now on,definately the best concentrates i have ever used and well worth the money.I will be back for more of these before long, thanks to everyone for your help and advice.
