Hopefully mine comes today i will let you know how it is and maybe take some pictures when i rewick it couple others on the forums have got one too so im sure you will get lots of help di Hi, Have been using the Octopus for a few days now.... it's great, makes my mint choc chip ice cream juice from Alchemist taste totally different, (I can actually taste the mint and the ice cream effect now! Before all I could taste was chocolate with a very slight hint of mint??!) My only 'Issue' - and it's probably all my own fault - I took the cap off to wash the wick after one juice and boy are those Octopus' 'tentacles' awkward to get back in .... all over the place! Lol! So.... I just change the juice now and vape till I get the new flavour coming through - sorted. Coil is getting a bit on the dark side now though, (yes I took the cap off again! ) so will be venturing into the world of rebuilding soon (wish me luck!!) Di

Got it this morning sitting at 2 ohms. Put in 15 drops of some Peach and its a cracking little device. The airhole sits below the coil on the base of it and then the air hole goes through the base and out of the side very cool idea. These could be the next Igo-L with all the treads busting, i got a silver one and it looks good on the Vamo. Id order whilst you can these may sell out super quick. Im off to go buy a different color one

Tip it upside down then put the cap over the wicks. Much easier

Hi brysoni23,
Yep.... that was the solution I used in the end (after much sh....ugaring, and grrrrr..ing! lol!) however it came very close to having its 'tentacles' chopped off!!!
Di
btw, you're right the silver looks good on a vamo

I got one of these a few days ago and it was OK with the supplied wick. I just trimmed the ends off to make it easier I re-wicked it today with my usual doubled over 3mm wick and 0.16 nichrome and it is now going great guns - a noticeable improvement for me. Very simple to do and you really don't need all that wick floating about in it - I think the 8 wick thing is just a bit of a gimmick One thing I find with things that have the air intake coming from the bottom is that it is best to get the wick fairly close to the intake, or they can get a bit scratchy. The only slight niggle I have with it is I find it best when the airholes in the outer and inner bit are lined up and when you screw it on something they tend to slip apart - might be worth improving on the supplied O rings. Otherwise I think these are very good and certainly give the Igo a run for its money.

I plan on doing a doubled 3mm wick once this is dead to line the airholes up i hold it to the light and can just about see when it lines up:)

Sits rather nice on top of a Provari, doesn't wobble like i expected it to do with the YTube reviews i'd watched. Recoiled it pretty easily saying it was only the 4th time i've done one

My ony problem is i dont think there is alot of room beyond the coil. so you have to be careful not to pull the wick out, like i have done on two occasions now

I did that first go,i cheated on the second and doubled up the wick, left the loop, wrapped it, attatched the centre post first, then when i'd finished the outside one i cut the loop. UPDATE Three major leaks in one day, have to rethink this

Guys, Just ordered one of these, first venture into rebuildables! How are they? As good as people say? Are they that easy to maintain, I'm happy and willing to play with tools, wire, wick etc. Been vaping for 6 months with various things, but feel the need to get experimental
