OK so I have 3 Igo-L drippers and I have 2 Vamo mods amongst other stuff. I was using the Igo on my chrome Vamo and eventually it just would not tighten any more so I put it down to the metal on the 510 connector on the chrome Vamo and confidently pulled out my brand new and totally stainless steel Vamo from it's beautiful black pouch and started to use my Igo-L on that instead.
Now just a few weeks after the same thing has happened again, none of my Igo's will connect to the vamo even though all other things will like novas, ce4 etc.
So I am assuming that the connector on the Vamo is plated brass and not stainless steel. I think the connectors on the Igo are slightly shorter than other atomisers which is why the other stuff all still fits...
Any one else have any thoughts on this or suggestions for a fix ?

Its the Igo L connectors that are soft Balllsy, a few ppl have reported this, its probably a softer compound/grade (if it isn't brass)

Yes,it is the Igo L connectors, not the Vamo.I have exactly the same problem with mine, and it won't sit flush on any of my mods now either.

I'm not so sure about that though as I have just pulled out my 18350 Nutz and have put all 3 Igos on it no problem.
Makes me think it's stripped out the top couple of threads off the Vamo but my eyes aren't good enough to see lol

If you remove the top cap while the IGO is in the Vamo or other device you will damage the 510 threads because you are putting them under stress. If you first take the IGO off the battery and hold it by the tread when you remove the top cap this will stress the tread shaft and the insulator. In time this will cause a problem. The only safe way I have found to remove the top cap is by using my finger nails

combination of softer metals and slightly off-pitch threads is a bad combo... had it happen with a few clearos, bad enough to eventually wreck the threads on my first eGo battery. Best off binning any clearo/carto/posh tank thing at the first signs of odd fits BEFORE it damages the battery or mod threads, once bitten not again
