Wera Garden banana flavoring Cracked my tank

Not sure if its been mentioned before as i could not find the cracked tank flavoring thread.

But i made a 5ml batch using 12% flavor 6mg of nic.

Put it in my AGA with SS mesh at 2.1ohms

few drags and it tasted beautiful, so sat down ready to have a blast and i started to get drips of liquid down my shirt.

Looked at the tank and there was two huge vertical cracks. so i tried my luck and had a few more puffs and two horizontal lines appeared.

Tank ruined but damn the mix tasted good

ps. what causes the tank to actually split?

TPA's Ripe Banana can also have a similar effect on Tanks, I'm not entirely sure of the cause, I've always believed it to be the acidic element in some flavourings.

Just read that i should of started at 1% and worked my way up i started at 12%
Maybe that could be the cause of it too.

it did the same to my mini nova last weekend. I mixed mine at around 5% just to try it.It does taste good though lol.

Thanks for the heads up guys - just received my Wera garden banana this morning so will make sure I use a pyrex tank.

I put all fruits and menthols through pyrex or ss now, after losing an oddy tank.

I have a spare tank with the AGA how do i know if its plastic or pyrex?

pyrex is clear poly is cloudy (slightly)

The banana is crazy stuff, put some in my dripper and it takes about 2 seconds for anything to happen, Makes a loud pop then i get vapor.

Is this normal???

Mine popped a lot as well but by heck was it tasty lol.
