Everything I put on my vamp is showing 9.9 when checking resistance which I asume means no connection, I think the centre pin has gone down, is there a way of fixing this please?

Correct- connection is not being made. Check both the centre pin and the connectors on your attys. You can also pull the connector on things like Vivi Nova's. For the vamo, gently putting a small flat screwdriver or cocktail stick under the pin and slowly lifting should remedy. There are tutorials online to show you this ... here is an ego one

Have tried that but doesn't work, works with some atomisers not others, thinking of buying Zmax or Evic any suggestions, is there anything out there cheaper?

Get a safety pin and open it at right angles, with a pair of pliars bend the 1 mm. of the pointed tip to a right angle. You can then pop the pointed bit down the side of the centre pin and with a twist of the safety pin, it will hook under the centre pin and allow you to "gently" pull upwards. turn the Vamo round a quarter turn and do the same gentle pull. do this at all 4 quarters and you should be good to go. By using a safety pin opened, it allows you to be able to turn the hooked bit under the edge of the centre pin. I have used this method with the Vamo,Provari and Ego`s, works every time for me. You just need to be careful that you don`t screw down your attie quite so far in future, but we all do it at some point.......often in my case. The safety pin hook is my most used item in my tool kit. I also use it for getting stones out of horses hooves Good luck

I remember reading a good link on ECF about resolving this issue by replacing the washer as well. It's in the VAMO sub forum from memory. I'll dig out a link if you want to have a look. No flaming for mentioning an inferior forum please.

You don't need a new mod,all you need to do is replace the poor quality silicon o'ring that sits around the centre pin.I had this happen to my older chrome Vamo the other week,i simply broke up an old cartomiser, took the ring from the cartomiser(which is much more heavy duty)and replaced the worn one.You can lift the old one out with a cocktail stick, pull up the pin slightly and stretch the new ring on.My connection is now rock solid again and it took all of five minutes to sort.If you want i could sort it for you or send you a few of the o'rings to do it yourself?Dont give up on it mate for something that is a doddle to sort out,it shows how easy it is if even i can do it

An even simpler thing that might be worth trying is to simply use a 510-eGo adaptor - this might make a connection and then you can screw into that. It won't look so good of course but it might work.
