the provari

I keep seeing the provari up for sale or for trade, ive been thinking of buying one of these in the near future, but why do people want to be rid of them, I don't understand ???

Not having one for sale I can only guess. For the money you'd get you'd be able to get 2/3 other mods that have recently come out with more functuality. I know the Provari is meant to be the benchmark for durability but in the disposable world we live in, a full mod rack rather than a solitary Provari speaks volumes.

I get the feeling some folk are just too worried about using it out and about for fear of damaging an expensive device.

Me neither Bomber. I have several different devices including Zmax anv Vamo and have tried several more but my a Provari is still my 'go-to' device. But - be grateful they do and snap one up

It's because of VW. Everyone is going daft for it.

If I could afford it, I'd still rather have the reliability of a provari and the warranty.

Roll on the VW Provari I say, and I don't mean the vehicle manufacturer before some smart a## comments about their Golf/Passat or something!

VW is handy, that's for sure...especially if you're chopping and changing atties often. BUT - I stick a Penelope on a Provari, check the resistance, set the voltage, and I'm good to go. It's no big problem.

I also think it's people thinking that a vw provari will be released in the near future so the cost of the second hand vv versions will drop considerably so aRe selling them now while they still can.

Although I still tinker with the wattage on VW devices as well, so it's as long as it is short for me, between VV and VW really.

I think it must only be a matter of time before Provari bring out something with VW. I think they have been caught out a little by the speed that other mods have overtaken the Provari technology wise.They surely will not sit back and watch whilst their customer base gets eroded.
For that reason I think people with a Provari may well want to sell existing kit in the hope that an updated model with bells and whistles must soon be released which must effect the second hand price of older versions.
I know the Provari it's second to none regarding quality but their technology is starting to look like it is lacking compared to some other mods due to be released in the near future.
It is a little like the mobile phone market where the likes of Nokia, who were market leaders were caught resting on their laurels.There are many companies out there chasing the number 1 spot.
Only my view of course.

After buying my first 2.5 Provari 4 days ago,i wish i could afford another,love it !

Quick question,does the button light still flash low battery on the other versions even though the button light has been switched off ?
