Thanks guys,
Indeed, anyone who is thinking about one of these should go for it.
I had been thinking about it for months, I was infact thinking about a lavatube but at the time I was looking around xmas, these had appeared but there wasnt much information on them, so I waited to see what the general opinion was, and a few more reviews on youtube appeared.
Loosing one of my riva batteries while out one day sort of forced the issue.
The riva batteries where lasting me a full 10-11 hours, I could get from waking to bedtime, but found going much beyond 10 hours the vape was noticably weaker.
I also have a vv pasthrough, which seems to last about 6 hours at highest setting before it tails off when not plugged in, although the beauty of it is being able to leave it plugged in at the computer or the car, and it seems to vape only a bit less than the sweet spot I have found on the vamo.
The 2 18650 batteries I got for the vamo seemed to have a fair charge in them as 20mins on the charger yesterday morning and they read fully charged.
I used it all day yesterday, and so far today the battery according to the vamo is still reading 3.8V, so I will continue with that battery to see both at what voltage it wants to recharge at and how long it lasts between charges. It's fun in a geeky sort of way lol
Andy B, how do you find the clearos?
I know myself and the others I have advised to get the Riva kit have experienced the same problem I had with them, the clearo that came with the riva kit was brilliant (mine still works 6 months later, although not much flavor from it at all lol) but the replacements I got (5 of) all either leaked if the top was loose enough to get a vape from them, or if tightened enough so as not to leak burned........... all 5 went in the bin.
The mini novas although look a bit out of place on the riva batteries, I find are great, great vape, have had no leaks, and much less fiddely to work with. (I have a tremor in my hands so find the mini novas a god send!)Have 2 mini novas now 5 months, had 3 but lost one, replaced the heads a few times only due to muted flavor, never a coil failure yet.
Ordered the bigger vivi nova for the vamo, but as yet not tried it.
The mini novas have been lasting me all day If out working only needing refilled in the morning, when not working I have to top them up about 7 at night. Pretty good I think!
Will be interesting to see how long they last between top ups now with the vamo.
I actually enjoyed the vape from the cartos, but just to much hassle, messy and fiddly to fill, even with tanks.
What are the rest of you guys and gals using? What are your experiences?
