When i soak mine in voddy they dont need a dry burn but some peeps have had problems with it messing with plastic tanks and the wicks. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 I bought voddy for a reason but forgot ....... grrr will have to buy another bottle now you have reminded me "/ hic |

I washed it out again on Friday and left it in the hot press to dry. Did a dry burn last night which seemed to work ok and refilled it. Working well again so I'm pretty pleased to be getting a second life out of it!!!

I have Mini Novas, and always dry burn the heads after cleaning out before refilling. Works for me, and I have recently got 4 weeks out of one head, so can't be all bad!
