Giving up homemade wicks/coils?

UPDATE,

I stripped down 6 heads and rewicked/coiled them with 2 different types of silica wick. On testing all 3 done with one type were fine, the others vape-gusting.

So, I think the bin is in order for my remaining "bad" wick. I am beginning to regret buying that wick. I bought it with some wire and paid something like £3.70 for P&P as well, so overall a waste time and money.

I think the next plan is to buy some ecigwizard silica rope-style.

not directly connected to this thread, but I got my order from Vape Escape today (that'll be about 22 hours mouse to door!) so have plenty of new spares. I've also been using an iclear 16 (Innokin Ce5 dual) with some homemade citrus juice (lemon, orange and grapefruit from flavourart).....terrific!

I'm on the aga-t (sorry to thread jack) and just got it sorted...vaping at about 6w...schweet...

4 coils....a bit of pulsing on the lavatube...sorted ...only took me about 4 weeks but still (1 week before anything was vapable) but still keep going back to my DCC's....they are just the bomb
