As i'm working alone for a few weeks (i love it). I have a lot of time, whilst still working hard, to ponder all sorts of things.
Today my mind wandered off to the future of vaping. I really can see a time when virtually no-one smokes and a lot of people vape. Some full time and some occasionally.
While on the one hand the thought excites me. On the other hand the inevitable "snobbery" will come into it. A bit like mobile phones. You'll get people laughing because you haven't got the "Gucci" e cig. Or the "Ferrari vape 12".
I don't look forward to that side of things. I would have to keep my XP 900 well hidden because it didn't cost a shed load of money. And you can't take photos with it.
How do you see the future of E cigging ?

Taxed and or regulated is my cynical answer Del . . . although I do think that a degree of one up man ship already exists in all honesty.

Yes there is a little one up manship already. But it's not too bad as yet.
Of course it will be taxed. I hadn't thought of that. Prices will go up considerably i suppose. 20% vat as well.

I think that depends upon the forum Del, we don't have it here happily cos we're not like that.
It'll all depend upon what the MHRA decide to do with ecigs . . . whether they're classed as medicinal or tobacco products . . . either way there'll be extra costs involved to the Vaper.

Oh i agree there isn't any one-up-manship here.
Mainly because it is generally agreed that my XP900 is the best out there.
When it does take off big time. And i do think it will happen. You're gonna get some big hitters producing e cigs and contraptions to die for. Standards will definetly go up. And we will remember the old days when you could buy juice and liquid soooo cheaply.

Yes james...sorry. I was being sardonic (i think).
The XP900 is a clone i'm told. Of a ..........CHRISSIE.....help me out here.
It's an excellent vape. But i'm joking about it being the best.

It's an M power type with a 301 atomiser. The 900 stands for 900mah batteries.
I've only been vaping for 4 weeks and got this two weeks ago. I started with a "health e cig". Great little mini-cig. But i needed more battery power.

Lol Del James, Del's XP900 is an eGo/Riva clone. From the specs it will work as well as any eGo Riva type e-cig. However as it's an M series & uses a 301 atomiser, it's not that compatible with so many things out there like tanks, clearomisers etc without getting an adapter for it.

It's a tricky one Del. So much depends on whether the MHRA, WHO, NICE etc ban it or if the drug & tobacco companies step in & produce there own models.

Would make sense for tobacco companies to make their own e cigs.
It's obvious that smoking is sooooo yesterday and the future of getting nicotine (in ever decreasing amounts hopefully) is vaping.
Imagine a B&H e cig. Or a Old Holborn e cig. They would still be in business. A growing business/market too.

In some prospects it kinda scares me as if it does become bigger say a ratio of %60 vapers and %40 smokers then the big guns will get on board this. Then i think but hope not we will be back to square one with the nasty chems in the liquid.
We will see wonderful small timers like paradise vape and what not go to pots they wont be allowed to sell without some sort of license what will cost a mega ton and it will be a sad day in the vapeing world i think.
As there are only a handful of companies what sell tobbaco i believe.I'm not 100% sure but i dont think theres that many tbh.Couldn't find no Internet sources what list the tobacco companies.
I see quiet a big ratio already of ejuice suppliers cause it is so easy to make and easy to do without any gov stoppage from doing so.So i imagine you would see a rather big change in that if the gov step in.
