A brief review of some juices from a newby! (Update 25/4/13)

Ok, so I have been vaping for around 6 weeks or so, and have bought
quite a few different juices, so thought I would share my thoughts on
some of them.

I will keep the comments brief, so it's not a massive wall of text (hopefully!), and group them into the vendors that I have bought from:

Vape Escape:

Grizwald's Joocy Fruit 20mg - bought a sampler of this. Very tasty juice, nice and
sweet but not overpowering, really tastes like juicy fruit, a very nice
juice all in all!

Grizwald's Black Cat 16mg - Really nice all
day vape. This has become one of my favorites. Very distinctive flavour,
slight licorice, but not so much that licorice haters (such as me)
should be avoiding this great juice!

Grizwald's Strawberry ice cream 20mg - Bought a sampler of this also. Very glad I only bought the
sampler, as to me this is a very unpleasent vape. I had avoided any
creamy flavoured liquid up to this point because I feared that I would
dislike the combination of vapour and creamyness. This is not to say
that this would be unpleasent for someone who liked the cream type
juice, but not one for me! Definite strawberry taste though, and easy to
taste where the ice cream flavour is!

Grizwald's Arctic honey 16mg - Bought this not sure of wether I would enjoy it. Opened on the
day of delivery rather than letting it steep (who hasn't?) and yuck,
almost threw it away. Gave it around 48 hours, and oh my, what a
difference! My all evening vape. Really subtle honey tones, blend really
well with a nice soft menthol. Honey taste after the exhale. Delicious!
I foresee buying large quantities of this in my future!

Grizwald's Peanut Butter 16mg - A strange one this, I was looking forward to a
strong sweet peanut butter, but this does not deliver that. More of a
peanut flavour than peanut butter, its very nutty and almost dry
tasting. Still very pleasent, but I can't vape it for long periods.

Vapology: (all from tailor made)

Mango 18mg (60/40 PG/VG)- Nice clean vape, but a little light on flavour for
me, but very inoffensive on the taste buds. Would buy again, but with
extra flavour.

Raspberry 16mg (60/40, double flavour) - Ordered
with double flavour as my taste buds can be a little stubborn, but wish I
hadn't! It's a shame as it has a lovely raspberry flavour, but
overpoweringly (is that a word?) sweet with double flavour. Will order
with extra flavour next time, not double!

Cherry 18mg (80/20 double flavour) - Fantastic. Tastes just like cherry drops (the sweets).
Almost an uncanny resemblance to them! Really nice persistant cherry
taste, lingers in my mouth beutifully! Have already ordered more!

Cookie 18mg (60/40) - Smells wonderful, the best smelling juice ever, like a
freshly opened packet of biscuits. I really wanted to like this, but
sadly could not. Strong butter and sugar taste when vaping. The first
bottle I know I will never be able to vape. Been steeping for weeks, and
apart from a richer flavour, still not to my taste. I will definitely
be avoiding this in future.

Aniseed 18mg (80/20 double flavour) -
Another winner from vapology. I adore aniseed, and this hits the spot
wonderfully. Really smooth rich aniseed flavour, almost lies on your
tongue when its in your mouth, its so rich!

Vanilla 18mg (60/40) -
I love vanilla so was really looking forward to trying this. It's
pleasent enough, but not enough vanilla flavouring for me, it's only
really noticable when vaped after consuming something totally
contradictory in taste terms, such as orange juice. Saying that, it's
nice enough and clean tasting enough that I have almost finished my
bottle. Will be ordering again with extra flavour!

RY4 18mg (60/40) - Nice sweet and smokey flavour, I can defnitely taste the
caramel overtones. This was a great vape as I stopped the analogs, and
is still pleasent now, but been moved out of rotation in the way of
other juice. Very innofensive, and something I can rely on when others
don't hit the spot.

Blackcurrant 16mg (60/40 double flavour) -
This is one of my newest additions. VERY strong blackcurrant taste. Too
much for me, but again my fault for ordering double flavour! I am
struggling to vape this due to the sweetness, but am going to try mixing
it with menthol to tone it down a little, and hopefully get a
blackcurrant tunes type taste (which I must say the juice already smells
like).

Apple 18mg (60/40) - Bought this on a whim, I usually am
not fond of apple flavours, but I am surprised that I can vape this.
Very tart apple taste, I imagine an apple lover would really enjoy this!

Tutti Fruiti 18mg (80/20 double flavour) - Really a very nice flavour.
Reminds me of bubble gum more than anything. Very palatable and a good
all day vape if you like sweeties!

Capuccino 18mg (60/40) - I really like coffee, especially capuccino. This was a huge
dissapointment. I find no hint of coffee taste at all, but find a strong
taste of wafers (think Blue Riband).

Totally Wicked:

Titan Red Bull 18mg - Really enjoyed this flavour, if you are a fan of red
bull, this is a definite winner! Also mixes well with other fruit
flavours, if you're into that kind of thing!

Titan Ice Menthol 18mg - Strong menthol flavour, refreshing, but not easy to vape for
extended periods, but very good for adding to fruit flavours!

Titan Blended Virginia 18mg - My first juice, and enjoyed it at the time, but
now I am a little more juice educated, was almost a 'generic tobacco'
flavour. Decent first vape, but I don't think I would enjoy it now.

Titan Cherry 18mg - Lovely sweet cherry, not overpowering at all. An easy all
day vape for me, and was used up pretty fast when I had it! I will
likely purchase more when I am at my local B&M store.

Iron Brew 18mg - Seems like TW have their fizzy drink flavours spot on, as
this tastes exactly like Irn bru when used in my dripper! Added bonus is
that it is identical in colour to it as well!

Bargain Vapour:

Menthol 18mg 100ml - Really nice gentle menthol flavour - think softmints. Easy
to vape whenever, and I always turn to this if my tastebuds are having a
bad day!

Pepper Soda 18mg 100ml - This does not taste like Dr. Pepper.
I think it's a way of 'almost' describing the flavour to
europeans. It's root beer, through and through. Smells like TCP or
similar (just like root beer does). Once past the smell its actually a
very nice vape. Not dissapointed with it, but I think it will take a
while to get through the bottle, as it's not a very strong flavour,
which I find difficult to percieve.



Hope this was useful to some, its my first go at reviewing... well, anything to be honest!

Well done! Not often we get reviews like that, we all know taste is very subjective, but it might help some newbies who have not tried such a variety, it is a lot for the short time you have been vaping hesta.

I see another Ninja in the making.

Try Vapology blackberry with extra flavour sometime, that's as good as his cherry flavour.

Ahh, postie stalking, if it was an olympic event, we would all be in for the gold for sure!

Wait until you get into cartos, carto tanks, clearos, dripping, bottom feeders and atomisers! Then your head will spin for sure! I'm currently trying out a bit of everything myself!
