Hi all..... Looking for a bit of help here , somehow or another I've went through three seperate vivi nova heads in the last three days..... Put a brand new one in filled up with juice and vaped fine but when juice running low I take the top cap off to top up with juice and then as soon as I go to fire up there's nothing and my vamo has a readout of 9.9 ohms ? So am I right in thinking the coil has popped ? Put another head on and the same thing happened , then finally put a third new head on and the same thing again , all show 9.9 after re-topping the juice up ? Anybody any ideas as to what the problem could be ? Regards Davey

The centre pin of the VAMO has probably been pushed down. See if you can prise it up with a small screwdriver or safety pin.

Having the same prob, but the nova works fine on other batteries, and eternity works fine on the vamo....strange.

Those centre pins on batteries are a real PITA. Every battery suffers from it. I don't what else could be used , but I think it is a definite design fault, in these days of great technology you would have thought someone could come up with a better system of delivery. I live in hope.

The center pin gets pushed down because people tighten the atomisers up too much, you only need to tighten your tank/vision/atomiser finger tight. I have 2 Vamo's one that I got when they first came out and I have NEVER had to raise the centre pin.

The other thing that often causes this with Vivi's or re-buildable clearos is that the head can unscrew a bit when you take off the top cap and hence you can lose the connection. Also, this in turn can effect the centre pin as, at least on some of them, it can now be pushed up remaking the attie connection, but losing connection with the battery.

Hi all quick update and big thanks to last post from dave..... It turns out there is nothing at all wrong with the centre pin , it was just my own silly fault as without realising at all it appears I've somehow or other managed to unscrew the head slightly when removing the top cap..... Three times in a row though I manged to do that , what a doughnut lol.....

Glad you got it sorted davey. I forgot to mention the nova solution as it was early and was rushing to an exam!

I have had this happen loads of times when removing the mouth piece on the Nova to top up with juice, but never at all on my V3s.
