Well, I have a chrome Vamo, a ss Vamo and a Nutz 18350 and I can no longer use my igos on any of them as they have stripped the threads off all of my mods, so I'm thinking a screw on might be a better idea. S'atty looks good Perps, the bigger the better for me as I find it extremely hard to recoil with my eyesight. I had that problem Sue & got an adaptor...............

S'atty looks good Perps, the bigger the better for me as I find it extremely hard to recoil with my eyesight. A good thing about the Phoenix is that the holes where you put the legs of the coil or coils in are best above the parapet lol. What that means is that you can get the wire in to the hole without bending it at all. It may not sound that important but makes a big difference when changing the coil. If they had made the Phoenix with the holes a couple of mm higher up the posts it would have been better. They are still pretty accessable though. Another complication is that some are sold without the holes at all so that you have to wrap the wire around the screw and then tighten. Both types are from the same source. On the plus side is that you can wrap the coil wires around the screw thread quite easily because it is above the level of the recess that holds the liquid. A difficulty with air hole lining up is that you can over tighten when you are trying to line up the air feed with the coil. All ecig top connectors are made from soft metal, brass usually. The reason for that is that it is a better electrical conductor. If you have to do a lot of adjusting to line up the air hole with the coil position there is a good chance that over time, the brass will wear and all of your atties will not thread well. It could be that the thread in the mod connector has worn sufficiently to make it too loose. So it is best to line up the air hole (if you consider it important, personally I dont) while the atty is OFF the mod. The wear will happen very slowly over time. You may be noticing that your atties have got a little wobbly when you are putting them on your ecig/mod. It will be wear on the thread in the ecig/mod. Atomizers should always be tightened just enough to give a little resistance when on the ecig/mod. If you have to go any tighter than that with just one atty, it is a problem with the atty (centre post). If you have to overtighten with more than one atty, chances are the centre connection on the ecig has been pushed into the ecig a little and needs teased back up again.
The push on type cap on an atty may be a better option if lining up the hole is important to you. But I would always do any adjusting for air holes OFF the mod/ecig.
Always look after the thread on your ecig by not overtightening under any circumstances and you should be fine. I would rather sort out a problem like that on the atty and not cause a problem on the mod by pushing the centre post into the mod or over stressing the threads and wearing them down slowly. Hope that makes some kind of sense lol

I have 3 Igo-l drippers and love 'em but fancy something else... so what's your favourite ? I've seen the Igo-s and it's way too small for my fiddly fingers to cope with so want something same size or bigger than the Igl-L Does anyone own one of these ? Looks very nice Thanks for your input Have you thought about the Vision Eternity Balllsy? I want one because they dont have screws, it`s a push fit kind of thing and a very versatile atty. You can drip with it, or fit a tank. and loads of shiny bits lol If you get pre made coils and wicks, these should be an absolute doddle to recoil (I have massive fingers and winding coils and fitting them does my head in lol)

Thanks Ash, they do look like a very versatile atty, I read somewhere they were designed by LG. Not sure of the validity of that statement though.

The posts on the Eternity, looks so quick and easy to replace the coil, just a push on fit, certainly makes double coiling easy on this The airhole on the Eternity, not gonna have any trouble lining that up with the coil lol.

It does say LG on the tin ... not sure if it's the LG we are thinking of or not. It's a good atty ... top point for it is the lack of leaks and amount of drops you can get in it, circa 30. Go easy on the pins though since there are reports of people breaking them when applying pressure ... as long as you line the connector up straight, you should have little problem. It's not my favourite since it's a little airy and the vape is cooler than others but it is reliable and works every time.
RE: dual coiling ... the issue with fitting the coils onto the posts is the lack of space ... might be a tight fit with double wound wires down there

Blocking hole possibly, not sure what with though - it does come with an ego fitting adaptor ring (far right component in the gotvapes photo) which you could experiment with but I've never used it.
Not saying 2 wires won't fit on the connector, just it'll be tight and make sure you don't break em forcing em on.

I was thinking of some sort of cap with a hole in it on top of the post with the airhole
