None of them are protected. I use mostly AW imr batteries in my stuff.

Yes I understand that you should only use protected batteries in mechanical mods. These ones are protected - not the first one - the ones that say AWP18650. www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=23 I find that protected batteries are not nearly as readily available as unprotected ones but Torchy on ebay does sell protected 18650's. What mod is it that you have ? I have bosq mods and some protected batteries are a bit too wide for them but the ones I linked to do fit them.

Oh yes and its always best to use a protected battery in a mech mod as the mod has no protection circuitry of its own to prevent over discharge, shorts etc.

IMR type batteries would be my recommendation they are higher drain, you dont have to worry about them fitting in mods and if they do go wrong they wont go as violently
