I'm starting to think I'm allergic to PG or VG again. I have noticed that my tongue on the underside where the veins are are slightly swollen. I only noticed because it feels like something stuck on your tongue. There is also a pink spot on the tongue. No pain as such, unfortunately I have no way to really test if I am allergic other than to stop vaping. Hrm..
Anyone else had this? I'll give it a week and see if it improves / gets worse.

Yes, when I look at my tongue it looks like the skin is coming loose on underside. I can move it. It's strange. I first noticed it on the right side and now I feel it on the left side. No, I'm not going to panic and think stupid thoughts.

No, I'm not going to panic and think stupid thoughts. I got the vamo bug the other week, as soon as the batterys was charged I was off vaping at over 5v getting a very warm tasty vape. It was a bit overkill and I ended up getting a blister on the roof of my mouth, that was after Id drained two batterys. I now keep it down between 3.7 and 4v, The outer skin as since shed off and nothing else to report. If your using a mod that could be the source of irritation, Have you been vaping direct onto the underside of your tongue ?

I have the same, it feels like loose flaps of skin.
Some people, have small (<1 cm) horn-like triangular flaps of skin under their tongue. They are on each side of the frenulum (the piece of tissue connecting the bottom of your tongue to the inside of your mouth) under the tongue and run parallel next to the two distinct veins. They typically appear in pairs and may even be up to 4 or more sets, but for even those who have them only two closer to the tip are distinctly visible while the others are very minor or just small bumps. These are the "fringe-like processes" part of the "plica fimbriata". Using a tissue to dry the bottom of your tongue can help reveal them. They are normal residual tissue not completely reabsorbed by the body during the development and growth of the tongue.

I take it I'm noticing them more due to dehydration or something? I don't remember them being that large though. SO I should stop worrying?

Well I'm certainly not worrying and whereas I'm pretty sure they were already there I don't know if I have just noticed them more because you mentioned it It's like putting your tongue on a sore tooth, you just can't help yourself. ........but no I'm not worried in the slightest. I still can't speak for you unfortunately, visit the doc if you feel really troubled about it.

I'm not really. Just more noticeable when I'm thirsty which seems pretty normal. I have shown it to my dad he said there is nothing there.
And yeah I keep moving my tongue trying to feel them and I'm noticing it a hell of a lot more, but if I'm busy and occupied I notice nothing.

I've been in contact with my old dentist in Glasgow via email. I have taken pictures of my tongue and sent them to him. He says what I have is caused by 'clenching'.
Basically my anxiety again.
